There are many reason why mask is not visible. Maybe in your viewport overlays it's turned off or has lowered opacity. With B shortcut you can have box mask, try it to make sure your mask is not visible. CTRL+M is for turning mask visibility of or on. As well it might be problem with matcap or studio lighting you have set up, specially if you are in material preview you won't be able to see mask. Hope you find the problem !

If you look at the top and a bit to the right there is a shape that looks like a butterfly, then X Y and Z. X is in blue, that means whatever is sculpted is reflected on the x axis. Hope this helps! :)
How to use mesh (5:10)??? Because no shadow region when I press M with mouse. Am I miss something? Besides I press F is nothing. What is the function of F?
When you press F you have to drag the mouse to side and it changes the brush size. Then M is for mask brush when you have it you draw on mesh ! Make sure the object you working on is in sculpting mode !
Mirror use to be on by default but they changed it, It's on top right of 3d view there is XYZ buttons you need to use X one or find it in brush settings at the bottom symmetry settings

Hello, how are you 'activating' the voxel? The CTRL + R is working for me, but nothing I do changes the vertices from the 386 to 25,708. It recognizes in the Remesh tab that the voxel is .495, but beyond that it doesn't do anything to change the amount of vertices.
@@justtisarts4635 Everything appears to be up to date. I can hit remesh but then it deforms my head into a really low poly shape, then claims the vertices are 185, or some other randomly low number. Like 80. Then if I keep hitting remesh it'll just gradually go further down in increments of 5. I was able to get my vertices at 24,936 by just experimenting with random numbers, but the shape is not smooth. By typing in another random voxel number, it shot up to 150k one time but still, the mesh looked the same. Should I just report it as a bug?
