That's I was thinking, plus I know he is trying to pick the front of the tractor up but with the bucket down the way he has it it will not go anywhere and yes I have a Kubota about his size and I have operated tractors including back hoes all my life and I an 72
I feel your pain. That happened to me the first week I owned my 3901. Luckily I have a backhoe attachment and with that and a chain pulled myself out. These are the things other channels don't show.
A few suggestions that often work for me. Put wood under the bucket to lift the front end, then put wood under the sunk tire. Lock your rear diff. Keep your chain as short as possible to get more downward force on the back of the truck. Getting stuck sucks, but getting it back out gives a feeling of accomplishment and relief!
livefreeordie1 Very good advice. In my opinion this tractor was no where near stuck. Lock rear dif, wood under front bucket, raise front wood under sunken front tire. Ease backwards while scooping front bucket and it would have driven out. As for using chains to recover stuck tractors, trucks, or anything else is a good way to break your equipment. This can easily been seen by the hard jerking when the chain was coming tight at the end of the video. Use of a dynamic snatch line is the only way to go. Once the tractor is free change those tires. Those tires lose all traction in the least little bit of mud. Just a few days ago I watched a 25 ho Chinese tractor work circles around a 47 hp Kubota. The Kubota just slipped and slid around unable to get enough traction to lift anything with its front bucket. The little Chinese tractor rarely would spin a tire while pushing where the Kubota couldn’t go. It was all because of the tires.
Good thing your truck got some good traction. I give your wife credit for using the gas pedal just right she is a pro! Thanks for sharing this video with us it was fun to watch and God bless!
Thanks for the video and great comments, I'm learning a lot. I have the diff lock on my backhoe and had to use it for the first time last night...never knew when it would be needed. This was a good example too.
Maybe I missed it, but my Kubota 3301L has a posi-track that kicks in when I push down the lever with my foot on the floorboard near the left side of my seat. I didn't really see both back wheels spinning at the same time and was wondering if you had actually engaged this when you were trying to back out? Also, might be helpful to carry along a chain and Come Along if you have gotten stuck several times. I know mine has helped me on more than one occasion. Cheers
Hi Wes. Nice of your wife to get you out of the mess, again! If you don’t mind me saying, your wife is lovely, and it’s nice to see the lovely interaction between yourselves. You and your family take care and stay safe! Stan
Oh dear Wes! Thank heavens for your lovely WIfe's assistance! At least you got it free between ya! Is the Kubota not 4 wheel drive? The front axle didn't seem to be helping! Stay safe & well! 👍👍
Chalk another one up for kubogy. I have a bigger kubogy (a MX5200), reason---it's got bucket linkage on the loader with LOTS more piviot 170 degrees not a measlly 130 degrees (like a LA 525) , so the bucket dumps good and rolls backward a lot. As for "pry-bar action" nothing can beat a Massey-Ferguson (a 1736 with a VERY reponsive DL 125 LOADER) that rotates an astonishing 210 degrees. Luckily never had to use it for a "pry-bar" to evacuate it from being stuck--this unit loads & dumps like a dream, WAY better than my kubogy. I don't think l would ever buy another tractor without bucket-linkage but allmost did. Getting unstuck can have many variables, yours was "textbook" precission.
Those commercial tires were the worse things to be put on a farm tractor. You need the full knobby AG tires and get a differential locking switch for front and rear.
Success! Total team effort! By the way, I might be mistaken, but I see bamboo growing around that area! Yikes!😱😱😱 Yank that stuff out of there as fast as you can. As you know, it'll overtake your woods in no time.
you can always used a come along to, you had plenty of trees around . Also i don't know if it is a road that your trying to have there you know all those bigger slab " your first cut on log " you but them cross way multi layer first row flat "cut part " to the ground second row round on top of the other round and so on depending at how wet it is then use your saw dust and cover the whole thing even if you need to leave a ditch or a place for a small creek you do the bottom of the area the same way but leave it lower so water can circulate. the wood in the ground takes a good amount of time to deteriorate but you can always had more when needed i have done ot before and it does work but you got to maintain it
I used rocks and logs to get a 40k lb dozer out of the mud just jacking it up with the blade. Packing rocks sticks and anything I could find nearby to fill in the hole with. It works 100% of the time, especially with little to no access for another vehicle. 3 for 3 so far!
Yup we've all been there eating humble pie. If we didn't have a better half there'd be a whole lot of tractors still stuck in the mud. I've lashed 2x4's to my tires to create an edge fir muddy grip.
Your wife looks exactly like mine but she would have kept saying, what did you do that for. Use your bucket to lift the front and diff-lock out with rear. Can also push with your bucket backwards.
It happens you was luckey. Just a stuck tractor i liked going a long anyway i have sad life for old man get my thrills where i find them ha ha thanks for taking me god bless
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. First your front wheels are not spinning, and thus you are not in four wheel drive. And make sure you are locking the differential when you get stuck/start spinning on the primary wheel.
Boy, you did it this time. Here's a little tip. Once the treads on your drive wheels fill ip with mud, you ain't goin' anywhere with out help. It kinda looked like the bucket was too far in the mud to be of much help too.
No, I actually really like these tires. The dealer told me they were better for lifting applications like lifting logs like I do. I read somewhere that they effectively have thicker ply as well...I guess because of the large, flat treads. Either way, I like them. Only downside is traction in the mud.
I once gor my small family car stuck in deep sand on a constructiojn site and pulled up bushes and greenery to place under the rear wheels and up she rises!
I see a lot of videos where people have a hard time getting their tractors out using the loader in the bucket the push yourself backwards.... I must be lucky I've never had an issue yet doing it..... I'm thinking those I seen don't put enough down pressure on the loader get the tires off the ground just a whisker... Not putting enough weight on the bucket
step on the defferential lock while in 4x4 low range..
Bingo you get the golden 🍪
That's I was thinking, plus I know he is trying to pick the front of the tractor up but with the bucket down the way he has it it will not go anywhere and yes I have a Kubota about his size and I have operated tractors including back hoes all my life and I an 72
@@patrolrider guess US 72 year old think alike..lol
Well. yall beat me to it. Use da dam diffy lock!! LOL!! Amateurs.
@@dungeondark your two months late lol
Congratulations to both of you on doing a fine job, nothing like a husband and wife team to get the job done.
I thoroughly enjoy that you show your “ooops” moments. That means you are secure with yourself. We all do ‘em. They make life interesting and amusing.
Everything worked out . No broken stuff. You two worked well together ❤
I feel your pain. That happened to me the first week I owned my 3901. Luckily I have a backhoe attachment and with that and a chain pulled myself out. These are the things other channels don't show.
Why didn't you use your diff lock?
You didn’t lose any paint or make a dent, so you weren’t stuck that bad! Lol. Props to the Mrs for helping out.

use kinetic rope not chain with a mild bump 3-5 mph. use Diff Lock
Great save, Team #FallLineRidge! You had her stuck pretty good! Thanks for a great video!
It didn't look like you locked in both rear axles? I think that would have got you out on your own.
My thought too. Hit the differential lock and should have helped to get the tractor unstuck.
Forgot about it until closer to the end of the video. Whoops.
You must of heard me shouting through the screen: DIFF. LOCK!
With a diff lock and a loader bucket, you shouldn't be able to get that thing stuck! But if there's a truck, chain, and dry ground, it'll all be OK.
Even my little bx1500 has a diff lock. I wasn't sure if the bigger tractor had it or not.
Good thing your truck got some good traction. I give your wife credit for using the gas pedal just right she is a pro! Thanks for sharing this video with us it was fun to watch and God bless!
Gotta use that diff lock! Rt rear tire was clean as a whistle.
Thanks for the video and great comments, I'm learning a lot. I have the diff lock on my backhoe and had to use it for the first time last night...never knew when it would be needed. This was a good example too.
You’ve got a great wife willing to help you out of your dilemma! Not too bad! Have a blessed Easter.
“You are a genius.” My wife says something like that to me at those times too. Working together is always a good thing too.
When I do something like that my smarty pants husband always says "So what did we learn?", like he's talking to a five year old. Makes me laugh.
You two are awesome, much love and respect from Melbourne Australia.
Pick the front end off the ground with the loader and shove a bunch of stuff in the hole under the tire
wow...you have a good helper

"You go in ice, mud, or snow or we pay the - Oh my goodness!" Great video, Wes thumbs up. Kudos to Mrs. Wes the toemyster!
If you have never gotten your tractor stuck you aren't working it hard enough.
Excellent work on the part of your wife 👍👍👍. You on the other hand 🙄🙄🙄Thanks for sharing 🤣🤣🤣

Nice Wife to pull you out,she was laughing with you not at you.So very cute.
From Florida Happy Easter and Blessings to you and your beautiful family.
Nice job. Well recovered .👍👍👍
To funny. The both of you make a great pair. Thanks for sharing. God Bless.
I thought it was an April fools joke! Great Team Work!
Someone needs to learn what the little lever on the bottom left does - hint it locks the rear axle!

Top points to wifey for not having an attitude because you made an error, and also having a great sense of humour about the situation.
She's a good one.
Enjoyed the video. Glad you got out ok. Good thing you had that gmc ( professional grade).
Happy Easter to you and your family!
Same to you!
A great helpmate.
At least you found water! Good stuck video, sometimes you just need a little help. Teamwork!👍😎
Can't beat a chevy! I'm glad you got it out.
Proof we all need a good woman. One that will get dirty if need be! Great video.
Why did you leave the bucket down when reversing?
I was using it to push backwards.
Good team work. M. Belinda Davis in NC
The beagle has some hops.

No bamboo here! I'd kill it the second it popped up. Horrible stuff. Must look similar.
Nice work team :)
Good help can be hard to find. Luckily for you, she lives in the same house;-)

seems like one of the rear tire doesn't spin while you bogged the tractor, have you used the diff locker? thanks
Teamwork accomplishes much more than trying to do everything yourself.

Industrial tires suck in my opinion, ag tires are much better for everything but being on your grass. Nice work momma!

Nice pond👍🏻
Good place for a pond! 🏝
Most of the time you were only spinning the left rear tire. Does that tractor have a differential lock feature?
We all have that one part of our properties...at least you can get a truck to where you were stuck!
Your wife did a superb job pulling out that tractor, how did you sink it?
At least it was not that hard to get out. I just wonder how did it get that way? Maybe answer the next video.
Oh Sorry !!!!! Use Posi and it will help a bunch. I've done this. Flush and pack your front hubs at your first early convenience.
how do you like your r4 tires now
they are junk
Your wife looks exactly like mine but she would have kept saying, what did you do that for. Use your bucket to lift the front and diff-lock out with rear. Can also push with your bucket backwards.

No diff lock at the rear on kubota tractors?
Differential lock?
Time for a bath for the tractor!!
Do you wish you had gone with the more aggressive ag tires for situations like this?
No, I actually really like these tires. The dealer told me they were better for lifting applications like lifting logs like I do. I read somewhere that they effectively have thicker ply as well...I guess because of the large, flat treads. Either way, I like them. Only downside is traction in the mud.
Oops!! we've all done that. 👍 From Cadillac Michigan
Your wife is halious and helpful.
Been there to. As grandpa would have said, 1 husband 1 wife together through life.👍
Are those R1 tires?
Good job. Get you a snatch strap. Works better than a chain and much safer.
I once gor my small family car stuck in deep sand on a constructiojn site and pulled up bushes and greenery to place under the rear wheels and up she rises!
Doesn’t that tractor have dif lock?
Been there, done that!
Oh wow even I have never buryed a tractor THIS BAD..LOL
it's a good thing one of you knows what she's doing
Yep been there and done that on more than one occasion.
Won't be the last time...I knew it was a bad idea before I did it.
Yep I sunk one so bad had to have a 50 ton boom wrecker recover it 👍
been there done that!
Good afternoon from SE Louisiana 1 Apr 21.
Uhhh! Now it’s all dirty. That would drive me crazy. Still to wet here to even think about getting off road
use the wheel brakes also. to much left wheel slippage.
I panicked and forgot the def Lock-that got me stuck
It really sucks when you get a 5ton tractor stuck, and have nothing heavy duty enough to pull it out.
Letsdig18 is good at doing recoveries
Log perpendicular to bucket , long and large as possible, bucket down on log, rinse repeat ...
Cool Wife!!
I know of a few times the wife had to pull me out lol
😂😂😂 good job
look in the owners manual for "differential lock".
I'd prolly get the truck stuck too.
Hobby farmers….. use a rip strap instead of chain, if you don’t have one at a minimum throw blankets on your chain.
Good wife. 👍
Just a suggestion..two chains and an older tire between..
Put in a post at this spot with a sign that says "Tractor Bog"
Ooopsie!
If you don't already have one, I see a winch in your future.
