I'm Richard, one of the Young Producers at the Royal Albert Hall. We want to express our gratitude for you highlighting on important parts of history. As part of Royal Albert Hall's charitable initiatives, we are organising an event called "Sound inna di Hall" to showcase and celebrate the influential sound system culture. The program will feature captivating performances, including a Steel Pan Group, a Reggae Band, and a DJ clash to energise the audience. To enhance the immersive experience, we plan to transform the hall to evoke the ambiance of a 1970s Jamaican hall party. We would like to enquire about the possibility of using some of the footage you posted on to UA-cam, projecting it on the walls during the event. We will ensure proper credit is given, as our primary objective is to celebrate those who have made a lasting impact on music and community cohesion.
What happened here? Arabs who like to dance to Reggae Musik ? What they want tell us or what they mean? Normally this people don’t like this Arbeit of Sound...greeting to all of them ✌️
The incredibly ignorant people on this platform who know nothing about sound system culture started by Jamaicans in this country. Building on the legacy of what still happens in Jamaica sound clash culture. Last year I attend the funeral of the great Jah Shaka (Who taught all of you from other cultures about dub) The good thing was I met many from the Asian community who came to pay their respects to the man for his work , which they tried to recreate So I am going to say to you ignorant souls respect your teachers and our culture and learn where all musical influences comes from. Particularly DUD, reverbs... Perhaps Jamaicans should rep carnatic music and call it their own. How about that?
