the lack of poi adjustability was a massive problem for me... installed on my glock was off more than 6in at 25yds... still waiting for an adjustable version
Been carrying my FN reflex with the small clip in a front pocket mika pocket holster. Bought the holster for my 642 but it fits a few of my micro 9’s without snagging while still covering the trigger
@@darrellperry8175so there’s no one out there that’s gonna watch this and think “oh ya that’s cool, I’m gonna do that to my carry gun or home defense gun” without knowing it could be used against them if they should ever need to use it?
Well done. Seems like that would be more difficult to find the dot than a typical red-dot since the 'window' is so small. Do you think that is a concern for less experienced shooters?
ive been so interested in these but hesitant af. i wish the could be used as backup with an optic. they actually make a front sight version of these as well which is interesting, might be good on a small revolver. i like how it the p365 sas has it sitting so low.
Might sound crazy, but I actually invented these before they did. Unfortunately though, being disabled I was never able to patent it... and then they did years later. Had this design as one of many and some that are better... but they came up with the idea later and patented it before I ever got the chance. (I know they're not the best sights... but there are ways to make them much better. I'm surprised they never improved on them though).
P-80s were outlawed in my state (maryland) and the day before they all sold out. I saw long lines outside in frigid conditions at several gun stores. They all went underground i giess because only a few were eventually serialized like the state required
Tried a red dot with my taurus g3…not feeling it (glad I didn’t spend a ton of money on it) this seems compatible with the g3, where can I find it and how much??
@user-ww2vc4tr9z I shot it very well with the stock irons…I just didn’t like that the rear sight was blacked out so I tried a cheap red dot. The g3 is solid my man, check out some reviews of it on here.
I bought meprolight RDS for $200.00 a piece at a gun show. Put them on ARs, recently saw the IDF using them on varios weapon systems. Also saw them for double what i paid. I dont even use my eotec as it is finicky when cold where the mepro is solid winter and summer.
Comps on subcompacts have little to no effect on the recoil whatsoever. People who think they matter are brain dead tools who just want to make their guns pretty. A flash light makes more impact on your shot than breaks and ports do in a sub 4" barrel.

I didn't realize Meprolight was an Israeli company... Now it's making sense since I've seen the IDF using the M21 reflex sights on their M4's on the news fighting HAMAS. Interesting...
Just sight down the corner of the slide and call it good. Plus you get to hold half sideways, so bonus. In reality they would be fine if yu could adjust them.
Like it, bro, argee with everything you say. Sounds like a lot of peeps jump to conclusions and die on it. Lmao. But definitely checking these sights out, no a red dot user, but those definitely have potential. Thanks for the heads up!
Meprolight customer service stinks. 3 emails and one phone message and not one response. All I need is the date of manufacturing for sights I purchased online I believe are much older than the seller claimed listed as hyper bright but are packaged as hvs, so at least 4 years old, and they definitely don't glow as well as they should. Meprolight apparently doesn't give a crap about good customer service and refuses to respond to give me the information I need before contacting the seller armed with the appropriate information. BEWARE, they're customer service is non-existent.
I'm confused why your advertising to buy a close range self-defense pistol that you say it's a range toy and you would never carry it. I mean you just killed the product right there😂
Hey you got they pf940sc just like mine..same color..I got blue parts..it shoots great..after a lot of r&d..would i carry it..yup..till they day i can afford a real glock....on another note..had my kel tec sub2000 out today.. got to try one..their kinda surgical..with just the factory sites..if you come across one try it..fun..be safe always.. Ps..I like that site .you got the technology 💪
That criminal charges comment on 100-150 yd shot was gold😂
I’ve always been intrigued by the Meprlights! Thanks!
Very good observation “100 yard shots it’s no longer self defense - you’re likely facing criminal charges.”
💎
Why do I almost love these sights
The back plate is Awesome

I have it on my conceal carry and I like it.
That’s the kind of back plate that they use against you in court.
Didn't he say that he's not going to be carrying it.

I would say yes at first but anything you shoot enough of you can be good with. Dry fire practice is huge with these as well! Respect!
Where did you get that back plate
I usually carry a completely stock s&w shield plus in 9mm, or a completely stock g19 gen 4. Today will be a shield plus day.

Been seeing these sights and want to try them. It's kind of like a red-dot and tritium had a baby.
Why do you have to remove the front sight. Is it necessary?
Use your brain
I have the front bullseye sights on glock 42
Add a front sight that's a little tall to help with quicker line up
Backplate goes hard
Yes…let’s talk about the sights - 3 minutes in.
Wats best comp without threaded barrel and with it. bang for buck g26 or jus threaded barrel

I just want a comp cause I think they look cool, I dont really care if it affects recoil or not.
Seams to me the sight has an inherent problem of blocking out the target. Maybe maybe not, i dont want to spend 140 to find out.
