Well everyone loved Blue back in the day. Even Lena said to them personally what a huge fan she was when she was like 10. (And then the guys hilariously moved away from her when they realized how young she was) It's such a shame they actually f*cked up this performance cuz with better singing they could have won.
IceCranberry Germany did f*ck up, Lena is just a bad singer and shouldn't have won in 2010.

UK, Slovenia, Moldova, Germany and Spain were my favorites that year. Bosnia & Herzegovina. Ireland, Greece and Rusdia too... Too many great songs
the question here is how the f*ck these twenty-five songs managed to sort out a running order that actually helps azerbaijan standing out next to the competition...
Germany should've won again in 2011. The song and performance was way before it's time.

10 years after I can say confidently that Germany should have won by a mile,with Bosnia and Herzegovina at second place.
Lena’s good but that was never gonna happen. Not the best song deffo not good enough for two on the trot by the *same* person.

Azerbaijan won sms voting and jury favored italy which got nothing from sms. So eventually Azerbaijan being first in sms and second in jury voting. So nothing to understand.

Hungary, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia, Ukraine and Georgia are the only countries from the final that I like! I think 2011 wasn't a good year... There weren't a lot of songs that I liked, and the songs I did like wasn't so special. Slovenia and Ukraine are the only songs that really stood out for me and that I liked the most :/
Ukraine was so bad- the song is really depressing and it only did well because of the sand art.

Azerbaijan was desperate back in those years - in 2009 they bought Arash, it didn't work. In 2010 they made sure u see and hear Safura on every site, tv and radio station in Europe , also didn't work, so in 2011 they decided to cut the crap and just buy the victory.
+Mashadov its not a new thing that eurovision is a shitty sold contest last year the winner was decent was 2009.

This was a very good year, very diverse. The winner however was not that spectecular.
2011 wasn’t a contest I watched live at the time, but there were some great songs this year. Unfortunately, the wrong song won. How I’d dish out the points:
