I have the equivalent Valliant eco tec 937. 7 year Valliant warranty My experience of a system like this. A lot depends on mains in coming pressure. Size of hot water pipe from boiler to shower. Biggest beef about these boilers. On a cold winter morning, since the boiler can only do one thing at a time. Either heat the hot water or heat the central heating. So in the morning the house will cool down, by the time multiple showers have been used. Personally if you have multiple bathrooms, go for an unvented cylinder. Just my thoughts.
Helpful video. However, I am not sure why do you think that combi with higher flow rate and multiple drawing points will struggle but 111-w will perform better. Drop in pressure is dependent on the pipes layout.
It’s not that dependent on pipe layout at all. The performance of the boiler is more important if you have used this boiler before you’ll be actually astonished at the performance and fast flow rate at multiple points. I have fitted a few in restaurant applications and they can easily supply three commercial sinks as well as the heating capacity of the restaurant it’s a real phenomenal boiler! Having a good capacity of ready to supply hot waterAnybody who has used boiler this will confirm this However it will need to be fitted inside a big cupboard or separate area to the kitchen as it is BIG it’s like a washing machine hanging off the wall !
For the hot water tap in the kitchen, is it safe for drinking with this boiler? Would the hot water in the kitchen always be always delivered through the combi boiler instead of the storage vessel?
I am not a fan of separate tanks so this looks good. I have 1 shower currently and adding a new loft ensuite in a 12 months. Upgrading mains pipe which will definitely give me the flow rates I need. Would this be a good option as compared to the 222 or unvented setup with 250 litre tank?
I don't understand why you think this isn't a useful product for 1 bathroom situations. With a max flow rate of over 18L/min, this beats the Viessmann 100s 12.2L/min convincingly for a power shower type experience without a power shower. It seems to me this product is ideal for supplying a faster flow rate to a single shower or am I wrong?
It's just overkill for a single shower. People forget that a shower will mix the hot water with cold to hit the desired temp. Water at 60° will not be comfortable, so after the mix, you are using less than the boilers output. I've got a 35kw 050 with 14ltrs a minute, but the boiler isn't pushing 14ltrs @60° when I shower because it's modulating down to the required demand.
Viessmann please update the w111 so it can also be paired with an air source heat-pump turning it in to an all in one hybrid unit then use the viessmann software so it can pick using your tariff the cheaper source to heat your home
I have this boiler and it will not fill a bath.fill a bath only half way then goes cold while the tank reheats I have had engineers from viessmann and they both said that these boiler are only for showers.
Hi, have you managed to resolve this problem? Once the 46L tank is depleted the combi boiler should kick in and supply instant hot water, no? Looking at installing one of these for a customer but a full hot bath is a must!

Getting it fitted today by Heatable - thanks Ben - I spoke with you couple of times..
Great choice - Hope the video helped!
Hi Kirit, after 7 months, how has your boiler performed esp by using 2 showers etc? Did you see the pressure drop?
Cheers

It is technically safe to drink from the hot water tap as it just circulates the cold water through the boiler.

Hi once this boiler uses its store will it run cold or will the combi part kick in and heat the hot water.
Once it’s run out of its store it will revert back to a combi boiler, so you'll still have hot water.
Will this be a good boiler for a 3 bedroom semi detached house and a potential Annex at the end of a garden?
Hi David, thanks for your comment. How many showers do you have in your property (including the Annex)?
@@Heatable it will be two showers and two kitchens
@@davidw717 Yes this boiler should be more than powerful enough for your property!
