I think you make a good point about fragging regularly. I feel there's a bit of a stigma from old school reefers about fragging stuff rather than letting it grow out, but most people don't have 6 ft tanks these days.
The monti cap is older than the tank itself! It's been reset and of course fragged many times over the years! However it's still not the oldest coral ;)
Great video of an awesome tank! If you vary the light intensity throughout the day ie. ramping up/down, turning fixtures on/off at certain times or vary the intensity of the diodes in individual fixtures, I’d like you to film at those levels. Please then talk about why you’ve made those choices. What effect do you think it has on the corals. I’m always curious how other reefers run their light cycle throughout the photoperiod and why. I’m excited to see more content from you Moonfruit! Thank you!
Thank you! I want to talk about it in one of my coming videos - PH is running "normal" now and peaks at around 8.15-8.2. Calcium reactors don't make life easy haha
Hi, i am planning to start a reef tank in my room as well but i am curious if it is noisy throughout the day and will the reef light be an issue (eg. afternoon nap), will it be too bright etc
It's actually NOT the oldest coral, believe it or not! I've had it since the tank was set up - so 7 years. There is however something in the tank that's MUCH older than that ;)
I can talk about it in the next video. But to be honest I don't really know what my No3 levels are. I don't test for it - but I think they're on the higher side 😅
Thanks for your input! I think it's important to set the mood. However, I agree that it's a bit unbalanced sometimes and I should dial the volume down a bit.

Great idea! Lighting a reef aquarium is it's own science lol
Many correct and incorrect ways of doing it. I might actually make a video on that!
Impressive and beautiful 😎
I'm very happy to hear you like it as much as me! Cheers!
1st light setting, since it shows a wider variety of colours and a more realistic look.
Roger that!
awesome!
Thanky Ory

A pure coral video? Why not! :)
What is your water change regimen like?
Amazing tank! Congratulations!! I also battle low PH. What does your PH run at?
Thank you! I want to talk about it in one of my coming videos - PH is running "normal" now and peaks at around 8.15-8.2. Calcium reactors don't make life easy haha

I'm literally finishing up a video about noise lol
It should upload this week. Probably tomorrow or Saturday.
The new video is out if you want to check it out :)
Cheers!
*What stand and canopy do you use!*
Custom made stand and a DIY canopy!
@@Moonfruit777 how did you make it?
@slushy9885 The stand was made by a company. The canopy is a T-slot aluminium frame, covered with white PVC sheets.
i like the balanced spectrum. your oldest coral is….. the bubble!
It's actually NOT the oldest coral, believe it or not! I've had it since the tank was set up - so 7 years. There is however something in the tank that's MUCH older than that ;)
What camera do you use? Great footage!
I used a Canon 760D to record the footage in this video. I was not happy with the quality though and will switch it up in the coming videos! :)
love it!
Thank you! I love your tanks as well
Really cool tank I'm just about to start a saltwater tank I'd love to become friends
Love to see people join the hobby! I'm always happy to help if you have any questions!
Hi how you keep the no3 lower
I can talk about it in the next video. But to be honest I don't really know what my No3 levels are. I don't test for it - but I think they're on the higher side 😅
Welches Mikro verwendest du?
50$ USB microphone from Amazon!
Whata the name of that chalice.
My signature Molten Core Chalice!
Def on my list now
Great choice ;)
Gen 4 were the best. Echotech fell off when bought out.
Tank is amazing.
I love my G4 radions - they're still going strong after such a long time!
@Moonfruit777 I have gen 1 and they still working with not par drop off at all.
@@6jdhd Awesome! I love the metallic reflectors they have :D
Great video, personally would lose the music. Not needed while you are talking.
Thanks for your input! I think it's important to set the mood. However, I agree that it's a bit unbalanced sometimes and I should dial the volume down a bit.
@@Moonfruit777yes, only dial and it would be awesome, like hard bass sounds that stands out, my 2 cents :)
Can I have some free frags if I like your video?
if you come pick them up ;)
Самая старая плерогира
Good guess! I've had it for at least 7 years!
