Thank you so much, very beneficial video. I have a question, is the pulley of the steering pump removable? Any idea how to remove and replace the pulley?

Hey I’m working on my 2010 e350 4matic aswell and have completed it all except the last steering pump bolt as it won’t fully get loose I believe it’s just a few more turns and it’ll come off but I think it just spins , but near that bolt I released all the steam/air pressure of the 2nd hose , so both upper and lower , is there anything I have to do to regulate or get back that pressure that it released ?? Is it safe ? And also my black circle pulls snapped off aka reason why steering was super stiff , does that have anything to do with the belt if it’s was “too tight” ? Still in perfect condition. Also one last thing is I can’t get the electrical pin out no matter if I push or pull or squeeze,

Replacing steering pump will make all the difference in the tightness and wobbly feeling. I hope you didn't accidently released the AC hose that is next to the steering pump. If it is just the two high and low pressure steering pump hoses, then you have nothing to worry about. Hi pressure will build up quick once it's running, make sure you bleed a lot after installation. Good luck.

@@JJCentral-DIY I used a star bit and used it on that funny looking unique bit with lines crossed all over it , you can it the grey line with the bit on 3:10 on video , and steam came rushing out fast , is that the ac line ? And if it was or what is wrong if ac line was released ?

@@benzgangotx999 Looks like you probably released AC line. Tighten that back and after you fix the power steering pump, you can add AC refrigerant.

@@JJCentral-DIY so the ac line is the one pointing downwards by the bolt ? I thought it was the silver/grey pointing up with huge ball of steel coming from it. I did the one with bolt on top of the oval shaped line pointing down , is that not the high pressure line ?

You are right, the hissing line is probably the high pressure power steering pump line. When you do your bleeding process the pressure will build up and trapped air will bleed. Thanks.
