Whoosh! I played oboe from the 7th grade til I retired at 65.... and I feel I have just received a master class on this beautiful piece. As close to perfect as I have ever heard!
La réussite de cette œuvre réside dans une compréhension d'interprétation polyvalente. Elle peut soutenir l'aube naissante d'un petit d'homme lors d'une cérémonie de baptême. Elle peut tout aussi bien glorifier un couple au zénith de sa vie, lors de l'échange des anneaux d'alliance. Elle peut souligner la fin de la vie, ces derniers feux jetés par un Soleil passé de l'autre coté ; avec le dernier salut à la personne défunte. Et surtout ne croyez pas que le Soleil est différent de nous parce qu'il réapparaîtra ; le moment viendra pour lui aussi de mourir.
anche secondo me, se mi venisse chiesto di scegliere il migliore musicista degli ultimi 50 anni risponderei senza dubbio con il grande nome di Ennio Morricone. Parlando degli ultimi 100 anni la faccenda si farebbe più complicata data la presenza di grandi come Verdi, Puccini, Rachmaninoff, Mahler, Grieg e molti altri, ma già di per sè, che un uomo dei "nostri giorni" possa essere accostato a tali geni mi rende un po' più contento di essere vissuto in quest'epoca
