Jens, your devotion to your friend Ryan is expressed so eloquently in this piece. Thank you so much for the work you do through his foundation. I look forward to seeing you at the next Cancer Blows!
Beautiful. It feels like a mist of love and appreciation from Ryan’s spirit is suspended in that place during your performance. Thank you for sharing Jens.
Every morning You Tube give to me a new versión of Morricone Gabriel Oboe. Your perfomance was great. How can you get that sound from this small trompeta. Gracias Jen desde Venezuela
First Congregational Church of Los Angeles---what an organ---just fabuolosuly huge!!! Part of it, was built by Ernest Skinner....this organ has pipes all over the church so you can bounce around!!!!
Beautiful Job, Jens. Soaring, soul lifting, purifying music. Inspirational. Thanks. I needed that. PS--I've only seen you play live once, at the Midwest Clinic a 2-3 years ago at 8 am. What was that piece? Is there a recording of it? Anyway, thanks. Matt Davis
What a pitiful remark. I could care less about the sex of the mask wearer, it is the mask I was referring to as a child of seven could understand. Why are you being so obtuse?@@MEdGrant
So while watching a video and hearing beautiful sounds of a heartfelt musical tribute to his late friend by one of the great trumpet virtuosos of our time, matched by an equally eloquent performance on a grand concert organ, and yet, you choose to only comment on the organist making a personal choice to wear a mask? It’s very sad that hearing beautiful music, and thereby sharing in a stranger’s grief as they express it through their craft are among life’s great experiences which are lost to you.
Beautiful
The best GABRIELS OBOE ever in duo - organ & trumpet! Listen and enjoy yourselves!
I love the non-verbal communication between the Organist an Jens, perfect synchronicity.
So beautiful. This world is a much lesser place without Ryan Anthony. Thank you for celebrating him & his life & legacy this way.
SUCH BEAUTIFUL MUSIC - THANK YOU. WE WERE BLESSED TO HAVE RYAN ANTHONY AS OUR SOLOIST
An incredibly beautiful rendition of Gabriel’s Oboe.
Die beste Interpretation, die ich bis jetzt gehört habe, und es gibt viele,
sowohl Orgel als auch die Trompete.. 👍
Extraordinaire. Merci.
Divinely played. One could feel doves bringing your friend down, and his spirit filling the space. Tears of joy and sorrow for all. Well done.

The trumpet evokes perfectly the soprano's voice in this beautiful, yet saddening melody. Bravo de Montréal.

Ah yes. This is good!
Very beautiful playing. It is a wonderful tribute. Is that trumpet/organ arrangement available for purchase ?

Bravo! I know Ryan is smiling listening to your rendition. ❤️
Is this at First Congo in LA?
Pięknie.

è stata sigla di "A sua immagine". Ora si sente alla pubblicità di Grana Padano
Beautiful. What organ, what church?
First Congregational Church of Los Angeles---what an organ---just fabuolosuly huge!!! Part of it, was built by Ernest Skinner....this organ has pipes all over the church so you can bounce around!!!!
just like in Phantom of the Opera - organist had to wear a mask
👍🎁💝
Beautiful...but the mightiest instrument in the world, the organ is insanely quiet. Louder please.
What Church?
Beautiful Job, Jens. Soaring, soul lifting, purifying music. Inspirational.
Thanks.
I needed that.

Anyway, thanks.

It seems Jesus Ìs listening to this sorrowful music with a look of sadness on his face in Heaven
Does anyone know where I can buy this arrangement?
2 things: the trumpet was exceptional!! Really exceptional!! The organ played wrong chords and both timing and pauses were totally invented… a pity….
Why do you say 'invented'? Have the players not the right and freedom to give us their interpretation?
Co to za kosmita za organami?
So silly to see the organist in a black mask, there is no one there, no one near her, what is her muddled thinking, how pitiful. Lovely music though.
Maybe she had to?
Had to? This is not North Korea. Nobody "has to" follow the political diktats of silly people.@@borisschneider9371
Very silly of you...a quick search will show that "her" is Dr. Christoph Bull, decidedly male.
What a pitiful remark. I could care less about the sex of the mask wearer, it is the mask I was referring to as a child of seven could understand. Why are you being so obtuse?@@MEdGrant
