- Elton John wowed fans with a surprise appearance in Rome fashioning a cowboy-inspired tasseled tweed jacket, printed trousers, red tinted sunglasses, a pastel frilled shirt and some gold bling. Elton, who's real name is was joined by husband David Furnish at a Gucci show in Roma, Italy.
The fans in Rome sounded shocked as he appeared out of his limo with other celebs in attendance including Naomi Campbell, Zoe Saldana and Korean singer Kai.

I think it's a disgrace and shows complete disrespect of one's heritage to change their birth name, unless when a woman gets married. If a woman gets married and DOESN'T change her last name, that shows disrespect to her husband. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the name "Reginald Kenneth Dwight "?! The change was probably made as a result of pressure from a greedy Business Manager and or Studio, with respect to perceived anticipation of greater recognition and subsequent monetary gain?!
