I just love Rita. Just when i thought i've seen and heared it all in jazz, then pop! all of a sudden i saw Joan Chamarro and his bunch of young, very gifted jazz instrumentalists. Rita Payes, Andrea Motis, and sexy Eva Fernandes are true great promises for the future off jazz. Actually all the players of Joan Chamorro are. I've been hooked the very first moment i saw them perform. Young, fresh and such a delight to hear them playing,AND seeing them on stage. Beautiful!
Man, I couldn't agree more....ever since I stumbled on Joan and his gifted talent...wow. I'm hooked.........and Henk, lets not forget Alba Armengou.....singing is so sensuous...and her trumpet is on point.....also beautiful and they all are....So much good music coming out of this school....
I recall, many years ago my Father who was a very fine classical pianist, almost up to classical standard, decided he would like to learn to play the trombone. He was quite startled at how difficult it was to be really proficient on this instrument, so I can well appreciate your fine playing Rita.

Coles 4038. The ribbon (BBC) design hasn't changed in 60 years. Still brilliant and perfect for the task. It is precisely the microphone the German WDR Big Band use for their trumpet desk. And they are very fussy about getting the best tech.
