Used to be ambivalent about wire capes as I spent some years doing cloth-goods, unwired capes. But a few weeks ago, I got a wire cape for a batman McFarlane figure and now I'm interested in looking at more to see what's out there. This channel looks like a good place for that.
JUST got my OT cape yesterday! It startled me when you said they were sold out. Wow! And yes, doesn't the figure ROCK with that cape! OT Customs did a great job and the material is amazing! I rather like the wrinkles, as they help scale the cape a bit. I think if they weren't there, it would be hard to handle. Sort of. Maybe. OT knows what he is doing! Great vid and I am so glad to see you cape up one of the awesome figures you found in the store! I saw that vid and was hoping you'd go for it! Great vid! So fun to see your enthusiasm! First great video and I love your channel With that said, I got that same cape from that same seller be careful with that cape while it is a beautiful cape and makes the figure 100x better, mine is starting to fray at the bottom not unlike the 1970s Mego action figure capes were they start to fray at the bottom because I’ve noticed it started to unravel. Maybe it’s just an issue with my cape , but I figured I’d give you a heads up to be very gentle with the Cape Ps I heard that to help it to not fray to use clear nail polish at the edges of the cape I heard to try to keep it from happening to take clear nail polish, and just collar the bottom of it to keep it from unraveling. I’m gonna do that during the week to see if it helps.
I got the same wired cape for this one and got the exact same wired cape in black for the black knightfall version love it!!!! I gotta mod the torso for better forward movement lol
OT makes good custom accessories but if the products aren’t already in stock, it takes literally forever for pre-orders to ship. I’ve been waiting over 7 months for the McFarlane Dark Knight shoulder pads and cape, 1/6 Batman Begins cape, and 1/4 NECA Keaton cape he has on his site. Every time I ask for an update my message is either ignored or he gives a vague timeline. His workload is way more than he can handle and that’s why a lot of people give him grief. The wait times are just insane at times…

I tried doing a chargeback and my bank said it's been too long...unbelievable. He doesn't respond to messages either. He has DM's turned off.
I fell in love with this fig and your video in November and just pasted my cape, but used too much glue in one shoulder and it looks as if it's wet. Any idea how I can clean it? Super worried I might have messed up :(
How do you put back the stock cape and reglue it? which parts of the cape should I apply super glue? The cape of my figure detached while i was unboxing it I want to reglue it…Hope you can help. Big thanks.
The wired capes do make it look cool, but, I'm not digging this one only because the cape on this era of Batman drapes all the way to the front and splits above the oval logo.
I had a cape from ebay and it was trash but i saw your video and went to ot customs.Just got the 2 I ordered in, one blue one black. What type of glue did you use? Was it tube or brush? Just don't want to ruin these capes. Thanks

Only where there s grooves. On the front of the neck and the back… im sure you’ve solved it by now but just in case 👍🏻
