It’s just sickening to suggest that Howard isn’t the biggest Narcissist in Entertainment (much less this show). I don’t think for a second that they didn’t do some funny business with Howard and his test when they all took it. That aside, the Robin stuff is funny. 😂
If you read DSM IV the bible for psychiatric diagnoses. Howard is a screami g egocentric. But he doesnt have these characteristics. Vanity, Superioity, Gradiose sense of self, lack of empathy, lack of empathy, se se of entitlement, exploitive behavior, arrogance. I agree Howard has some of these characteristics but a most of it is an act. The proof that Robin is clearly one is that underlying her condition is anger. She has never admitted she has been wrong. She lost Jeopardy her response " i have bad eye hand coordination. " That defense has nothi g to do with hitting a button if you know the answer. Do you think she has a sense of " entitlement " Listen to the show where the first thing she says is Howadd im mad at you. I dont want everyone to know so Ill raise it now, on the show" Howard says ok. Robins response word for word. " today is my birthday and i dont think you honored me properly. So lets not discuss this fake attempt to respect and honor my birthday. Howard and Allison had tbe idea of buying Robin tickets to a broadway musical and taking her to dinner after. Robins response " oh i thought that gift was from your children. Last, she agreed to play Dominic in basketball. She lost and went unhinged the following day on the radio. I wasnt prepared Dominic cheated. She clearly had a rough hand dealt to her in life. But after goi g through that does it sound normal to say im fine , i dont know therapy. I feel sorry for her but i cant listen to her any longer. Non stop interrupting, she yells her comments into the mic. Grrrr
Great bit, but listening to any 2009 show is sort of awkward due to Howard blowing Artie off and ignoring great lines from him. I would guess it was when Howard decided to get rid of him.
There were so many instances of this around that time. I remember one time when Artie was saying something (although kind of rambling) Howard put his hand up to Artie and signaled for him to be quiet
She’s insufferable. The trauma she went thru is sad, but she never got help because she’s so self absorbed. And Howard being her coworker doesn’t help
