So frustrating. I was watching YDP-144 prices since August 2021. It was $1099 everywhere. Didn't go on sale over holidays. Then the YDP-145 was released and the price on the 144 was INCREASED by $100. No real difference between 144 and 145 except a higher price on both.
And like always, this is of course NOT what it sounds like in reality. Through the 8 Watt speakers, it sounds very weak and nowhere close to what it sounds here. A much better choice for the same price: Kawai Kdp 120
Really? isn't the headphone jack can be used as signal input for the external speaker? if the signal is weak, am amplifier can be used between it and speakers. Just my thought and hope more people can see this and confirm. Technically, the built-in speakers can can be wired out for external speakers but that might mess it up or render it ugly.

isnt this just the yamaha dgx 670 with homepiano design, weak speakers(8 instead of 20 watts) and a lot less sounds? dgx has at all vrm lite too.
