Just bought this, arrives next week! So excited. It's literally the only thing I've ever bought where the reviews I checked after the fact were good, and not terrible 😂
I have a question. I would like to record myself, video of me playing, but I want to record the pure sound of the piano. I'm sure to understand how to proceed. Please
We spent a lot of time on the App as it is THE way to get the most out of the YDP-145. Seems strange at first, but once you use the app, you'll find the piano to be so much more than, well, a piano.
@@kraftmusic Oh, I see what you mean. However would you recommend it to someone for its basic use, or is there any other option at a similar price that is better for this simple job?
I wonder what temperment it uses. Presumably equal, though by now I would expect digital pianos to automatically fade between different temperments by identifying the key you're playing in.
1188 beats per second I play the piano too fast on purpose (racing for fun) The Guinness record is 765 beats/second, but I have 1188 beats/second on Yamaha YDP-145: ua-cam.com/video/kAsvclW5tt4/v-deo.html
@@danieln611 I mean, this is recorded over line out, not over inbuilt speakers.Which is not how most players will use it. And it will sound a lot worse. A lot.

so wonderful man!!!
Splendid! Can this piano be connected to a pedal like Big Sky MX? It would be my first choice for a piano if I can do this.
That jazz version of "Für Elise" was cool

Does it have a sound recording??
Yes it does
Sound is very beautiful! What is the method you used for recording?
can you import midi files?
What is the song at 3:15?
pretty sure that's part of "I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues" Elton John
What’s the different from ydp-s34?
Probably just the cabinet and lid.
I don't get why the whole video is dedicated on smart pianist app. What's the point? I want to buy a good piano, not download an app.

This or Casio px-870?
whats the difference from ydp144 ?
1. Virtual Resonance Modelling lite
2. Tone Escapement Construction
3. Additional 303 lessons songs.
@@thomasmicmod isn’t the 3030 additional lessons part of the app and not exclusively on the 145?
@@maestrovlds yes you are right.
@@thomasmicmod so what‘s better? :/
Can i connect with my computer as a midi device
Yes
what's the song called? 3:15
Darude - “Sandstorm”
name of the app
It is the Yamaha Smart Pianist.
Hi! I just ordered this piano now. How can I get this application?
Tell me, is this piano good? @annamarko6607
To be honest. A lot of insight, yet left with so many questions. How does this happen? lol
Cool
Can I use headphones with the digitalpiano? I don’t want to make my neighbours go crazy while I practice 😂
Yes if your headphone has jack

It is incredibly weak over the inbuilt speakers. Which is the default use case. Not line out like here.
what do you mean

@@argi0774 It doesnt have line out speakers but probably recorded via usb to midi host. Or via headphone out.
@@jonos138 Yes, can use a splitter from headphone jack one end and dual 1/4 on the other for a PA, etc
