ATTENTION COLD CASE FANS Some years ago some fans tried to get their favourite shows back on the air by sending stuff in to the makers of the show so why don't we do it for Cold Case like send a box with a cold case file number on it or send in a photo of a box. Come on CC fans lets get this show back on the air where it belongs
All my sediments.. I very rarely watch regular TV series. Only seasons from the past like Cold Case, CSI, Law & Order the seasons from the very beginning, etc..
Dear Dad, It's the night before we go into battle, and I can't sleep. Even in my dreams I hear their artillery and I'm so afraid. When I need to be brave, I think of you dad, and your strength in the world that is no longer simple. Sometimes, I dreamed I'm home again; drawing pictures of you, Mom, and Little Barbara, none of us behind bars. Because in my dreams we're free. I know now that's why I'm here; it's not about who I am fighting against, but who I'm fighting for; You Dad, and your dreams in America could be, should be. See all of us in this battlefield: white, black, brown, yellow, and that's the America I know. Maybe one day I'll see you there dad. Love your son, Billy That's the America I know, the America I knew when I was a little girl almost 31 years ago when life was easy and everyone getting along with each other no matter where they came from. What happened to the America we knew, our parents knew, our grandparents knew, and their parents and their parents?

The last 10 minutes of this episode breaks my heart! To see how broken Ray, Mr. Never Give Up had become (until he got the letter) and to see how Skip turned into such a hateful young man, who no longer saw Billy and Ray as family.
I do too. I have been watching on Roku all the seasons. I am on this season S6E05. I started from S1E01. Loved this series... They hit on so many good topics of our times..
@@MarieKindred Ohhh I'm still in S5... Oh God, there's one I absolutely bawled over. Such great writers, great subjects. Thanks, Roku😁Stay Safe, Y'all.
@@MarieKindred Hi, just realized the dates on these posts. Well, I didnt really start watching until June, and now I have to return to work so only allow myself 1....ok 2 eps. a night🤷♀️
Beautiful episode. It depicted a shameful moment in American history that is often overlooked: Japanese-American Internment. It also show what can happen when a society begins to label a group of people as the "Others" and therefore dangerous.
in many ways we behaved no better then the nazis with concentration camps only diff is we wernt gassing them or starving them per se but sexual assult happened shameful
@@wayneblackburn5858 we fought against Fascism...yet we had our own concentration camps. There's the scene where a soldier guard at the camp accuses Ray of having relatives " fighting for the Emperor." Ray notes that the guard's name is "Scholz" and asks if he has relatives fighting for Hitler.
Hi! This song was very common in the TV series 'Lost'. After surfing for a long time I found the title!! 'Life and Death', by Michael Giacchino. Hope to help you ;)
I cry every time I watch this scene and when I watch the whole episode. It depicts a sad time in our history. This is one of the few episodes that show events in US history regarding humans disregard full treatment of other deemed different or inferior.
The story was very good but I see it quite complicated that Evelyn and Shinji were still alive and healthy. If Billy went to war he must have been about eighteen, which makes his parents in their mid-thirties, at the earliest. So, in 2007 there would already be close to one hundred.
David, Fine acting. Love Cold Case and the messages they try to tell us in each episode. During your voice over can you get us the title of the song that plays along with it? So beautifully done. :) Thanks, David (here too)
I just saw this. 10 years late. But better late than never! The song is an original score composed by Michael A. Levine. The song isn’t published so it doesn’t have a name. Levine was the series composer and created all the music of the show.
It's not impossible as some people have very long lifespans though the actress who was playing the older version of the mother should have been aged up a bit more. She looks like someone in her 60s than a centenarian.
It's one of the aspects of Cold Case that in the older cases, the people who are still alive are often younger than they would really be. It was a small adjustment that didn't diminish the quality of the show.
Lawson Sakai came to see me in the Vosges, I transported him, in my bus (i am the driver). We know that we owe our freedom to the Nipoamerican for the battle of Bruyères.
These Asian-American soldiers deserve to be remembered and cherished for their service and sacrifice
"Murder is a sign that anger has pushed its way past compasssion and reason."
...or envy, fear, greed, jealousy, even LOVE.
Any emotion without proper control, discipline and mastery can lead to even murder.
This episode, more than others, had me sobbing. Such great writing on this show.I wish they'd bring it back....such inane crap on TV these days.

The episode itself was awesome, however the ending had me in tears.
@brittneyburbach I think it's the same song that played in "Shuffle, Ball Change" during Maurice's dance.
one of the many episodes of Cold case that me me actually cry.
Thank you!

This would have been George Takei,s favorite episode. Mr. Sulu. As a little 6 yr old he was placed in an internment camp.
Must be where he learned to be queer.
This HAD to be the hardest episode for me to watch. No question.
The things we minorities went through in war, thru the 20th century...lord.
We're still going through it.
This makes me cry really hard 😢😭😭
That was really beautiful.
This episode was brilliant! But if the mother were still alive, she would be over 100?
She is probably in her 80'.
@@vortexoblivion85 But her son was a teenager in the 40s. So, she should be very old! And Shinji too.

Essa música é uma composição original pro encerramento desse episódio. Infelizmente eu também não consegui encontrar só a música.
