I moved to Hua Hin, Thailand, a condo for 600,000 baht thai. This place is so good, I live like it's my home. because I can work from home Of course it's near the sea, good beer, good food, you can eat cheap seafood on the beach, it's really good, 1000 baht per day per person, it's really good.Bangkok my family's next gift. 😍😍🍻🍻👍👍
I love Bangkok! I remember going to Wat Pho. That reclining Buddha is jaw dropping! Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Golden Mountain, Floating Markets, Chatuchak Market...so much to see and do! Can't wait to see you guys explore more of this incredible city! 😎
April 13-15, 2023 is Thai New Year's Day. Thai people call Songkran. There are splashing games all over the country. It's a very fun event. You guys should experience the Songkran Festival of Thailand.❤❤
@@DelightfulTravellers Because during the COVID 3 years, Thailand did not hold a Songkran event. This year will come back to host the Songkran festival as usual.
I went to that water festival! It was crazy! And cold!! Everyone had water toys or buckets! One sister and I took a Tuk tuk back to our hotel and the driver kept stopping so people could por buckets of water on us! We kept saying “no tip for you!” And he would laugh at us! 😂
I learned about that reclining Buddha in a unveristy class I took in like...2005? haha cool to see it your video! Do not ask me any of the details of why I learned about it, all I remember is that it is very big and reclining. Looking forward to seeing more of Bangkok!
One of the things we love about you guys is that you do give us a bit of information about the place your visiting, along with entrance fees. There are channels similar to yours, where they don't provide any info, and often don't even know what the building is.....lol. We began watching channels like this because we love to travel. I love to gather up all the information I can before visiting a place, so that we are prepared regarding places we want to see in that area and transportation options. We always like to save a buck, and will often choose public transportation like you guys do. I'm in the middle of planning our month away in October to Europe, and will be re-visiting some of your older videos. Cannot wait to be back in Europe!!!!! - Coreen
Wat Pho is an old temple south of the Grand Palace. It is also known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha built by King Rama III in 1832. The King also decreed that traditional Thai massage and traditional medicine be inscribed on stone tablets to deseminate the knowledge to the general public. The famous Thai spa and massage are believed to originate from such stone inscription. King Rama III was also known as Merchant Prince because when he was still a prince he conducted trade with China and asked the ship captain to bring back stone sculptures such as Chinese deities, mythical beasts as stabilizing balance in the ship's belly. These stone sculptures are now commonly seen at Wat Pho, Wat Arun and the Grand Palace. When President Obama had only one day to tour a Thai temple, US Embassy recommended this temple due to its unique architecture, history and beautiful reclining Buddha.

If you want to explore Bangkok all day, you can purchase a One Day Trip MRT or BTS ticket for 150 baht, valid from morning until midnight. as many times as you like. 🤗
One of the reasons why beers in Thailand are a bit more expensive than our neighboring countries is the certain alcoholic beverage tax added up to the price. Not only beers and all kinds of liquors, there are also tobaccos and all other luxurious items needed to be taxed at higher rates than general commodities.
Try finding a condominium for rent near BTS is your best choice for long stay. Some of them have luxury facilities like a hotel with just 300-1000+ per month depending on how far you're from city's center

The government put barrier on beer industry such as big investment capital to start brewery legally. So a lot of brewers left the country and started elsewhere. Some of the Thai brewers even won global craft beer competitions but they can’t represent Thailand. Instead, they represent the country of brewery. And also alcohol tax in Thailand is extremely high. So… unfortunately alcoholic beverages are more expensive in general.
