I wish there was like a premium light, with all the fame, gathering bonuses etc., but no focus. It's actually refreshing when I take a month off from premium and I can just leave my island and crafting stuff alone and just focus solely on combat based activities.
For that price it's almost not worth it. For that price premium should offer more.
it offer everything it can offer, you literaly get a free high value mount, multiple chests, insane progression speed, more money from the market, everything a player will need.

I started the game because of farming and personal island, but when I saw the island needs premium i said myself i will gain it soon as possible. I have 4 week of playtime and still no premium. Because every solo activity in albion doesn't give much silver, contents like ava roads,solo dungeons,and more.
U should look into refining/crafting, its more profitable.

Have u ever been a courier?, well if u don't, then try it..., you can make atleast 300k silver/hour,its risky job, but its worth it, and if u grind this for atleast 3 hours/day and u do it everyday, well u can get ± 27M silver/month, and you can buy atleast 2 months of premium, maybe this will help u a bit....
saving for premium and benefiting from premium is like another day job. To make it worth it you must have no life.
Thanks for the great content as always! Not related to the video topic, but as a newer player I liked the trick used at 16:34 for clearing solo dungeons efficiently. No need to kill the final mobs on the floor since you know (at that point) there won't be any more boss/chests to loot.

Premium is too pay to win and most people don't realize it. This is even worse when the general direction of the game is towards group activities that will mostly hurt solo-farmers and gatherers. Killing gatherers is highly encouraged as they are helpless and most of the time comes with next to zero risk. The rich gets richer, and with billions silvers in their stash, buying premium is buying candy.
What needs to be done is to discourage killing gatherers who works the economy. Encourage rich players (8th tier gears) to kill other rich players with high end gear. This way, it trashes more expensive items that will significantly balance out the silver economy. Also, they have to sell more appealing cosmetics to sustain the cost of running the game. Right now, Albion's cosmetics is so underwhelming and relies heavily from real money premium purchases.

When I started playing it was 8m . I don't remember much but maybe that was de time when faction Warfare in de safe zones became non-Lethal, and it's 18m rights now.
in 2017-2020 in albion we had premium for 3.5-5.5, 6-7, 8-9m by first 3 years, in asia server it was 10m since f2p open and up to 11m in just 5 days of server, wierd things happening to the gold market since stilfront bought this game, I dont know how anyone can believe that they do not hold their hand on this aspect to let this be price be high in last 2 years

@@ace_sweethell292 there will be a time when albion have enough players to the point where those who grind f2p will have reduced value in the eyes of the company who hold the game. so what will they do? they will try to make those f2p players spend money, how? super expensive premium or even worse, they might remove the ability to buy prem with ingame currency.

simple math:
if premium 17m / 30 days then you need to acquire 567k silver per day or 3.9m per week.
i can smell that the ones who can maintain the premium on every month are only high level players, while new and intermediate players will need to grind for 2 - 4 months (depend on how often they play and what are they doing in the game) to be able to get their first premium.

Almost 20m for premium is just not worth it
It is 100% worth it. There are so many easy ways to make silver as a solo. Just use your focus. Craft food. Craft Pots. Refine Mats. Any of those 3 with focus 2x a week 15 min a day so 30 min a week and you can easily make 4 to 5M a week doing just that. Premium is paid easy with just 1 account 1 island.

As a mostly solo pvp player premium isnt that worth it.
The only times i would consider buying are: starting to use focus, fame farming with a dedicated group all month.
Focus can get you like 30m a month on the low end so its def worth it
in 1 week you get back those silver assuming you're gathering as well
if you are an end game player yes, but in that case you dont need it

Playing a game shouldn't be a full time job, that's why I quit albion and similar games, my life was better since then. Now I only play singleplayer/casual games, I really enjoy them and have time to study and work (sadly, I hate my job a little) properly. I recommend you doing the same, these types of game survive by making their community addicted to them, and addictions aren't good.

Ever since Slayer cdg got nerfed and RL stuff is back to normal (no more online school), i just stopped buying premium since i can't dedicate much time like i used to and it's impossible to make 1m in just 30 minutes of gameplay like it was back then
Now, i can only be online during the weekends so buying premium is just a waste of money and would make the game feel like im living from paycheck to paycheck (even in East server now, my character still doesnt have premium lol, but thats because i don't have much time to grind anymore)

im debating. i was away a long time and let alot of premium just run out (i have 4000+ learning points atm) I am debating exactly what i want to do. i have maybe 70m silver and at least 50-100m in gear/loot. The question is whether i want to dedicate the time for the next 30 days.
for new playes and the gatherers this works the old players only make pvp for pvp is not necesary the reazon to play online games is not be alone collecting grass or killing the moobs the reazon to play online is play together other people cooperative roleplay or versus other people competitive roleplay .

They revamped the market taxes. Increased the gold needed for premium. All under the guise of "Trying to add more silver sinks into the game" Aka. We want more fucking money.
Less than happy at the direction they're taking the game. Hopefully they're satisfied and they fuck off with squeezing the economy in game to make more profit.
Asia compounded everything, taking a chunk of the servers population away slows the economy down. Not sure if the gold market is universal between the servers or not. But I haven't seen a city hit player cap since they beta'd Asia, even during peak hours.

its a very smart system. Also im mind blown how they made the p2w elements so shadowing. I spent alot in this game to get where i am and i wouldnt be anywhere close without doing so. You can literally get 120/120 every single gear without even leaving town. same with crafting. Yet people seems to think its not a p2w game. Totally mind blowing and all creds to SBI for this!

Bro depends on the point of view. If you think you are "winning" something by not leaving town you're delusional. It's just a pay to skip the grind in that case. The content that matters in this game is full loot, so sure you can spend real money to buy gear you normally can't afford with your gameplay, but this way you'll just make other players happier when they kill you, SBI will be happy to get your money and the crafters are happy you're buying their gear. It's a win win for everyone really. Also anyone nowadays can spec his gear to 120 by famefarming with a good guild and even make profit doing so. If you're spending real money to get fame, other than for premium, because you think it's dangerous or hard it means you're either aa complete noob with a lot of money to waste or you simply don't like the game very much and you should ask yourself why are spending money on it in the first place 😅

Its a pvp game. You are not winning if you stand around in town. You can buy max spec and 8.4 gear. But with no skill youll loose that gear in minutes when you step outside of town.

The thing is, that only Saudi oil barons could afford what that would cost. And then you would go out and die to a group of 14 800IP rats instantly cause you’re a dumbass. Game is not pay to win lol.
what I recommend using your learning points for is gathering just skip like grinding unlocking new tiers I recommend focus on unlocking one resource to tier 8 is soon as possible for Gathering when you first buy premium you get 1000 free learning points that's enough to complete one Gathering tree
the two Gathering paths are recommend avoiding fishing and stone Gathering they're not worth wasting points on

you can make double your premium within 2 months of build up by just using the focus every day... its worth but crazy expensive atm
premium is always worth it you get learning points which are a big Time Saver even if you're not playing you can come back later I took a break for one month and came back and I had an extra 900 learning points to work with you do not need to log in to get the points with premium without it you do and you only get 10
5 days i get 10 mils for premium at easy
18 mils i just need 9 days
Another tip: if you only do PvP and no pve/craft etc., you don't even need premium because you can get the free 3 days premium on an alt after doing the tutorial to do sell/buy order for your stuff :D
I play mostly if not only for faction warfare, potion crafting and herbs gardens and some ava roads gathering... Premium is amazing for my playstyle. Almost obligatory. At least it isn't that expensive in $
You could also just get a job and work that for an hour, to afford the 1 month premium and just chillax the rest of the month.
Chasing Premium makes Albion from a game to a work. It sucks the joy and fun from it. My mental state is better without chasing premium and trying to make silver for next months premium while on premium and endless loop.

unironically if your trying to min max its more effective to beg at the corner of walmart for 16 dollars then to grind 21mil silver in game for like 99% of the playerbase. Like on a time investment stand point one hour of begging probably = 10 dollars irl 1 hour of grinding in game is like 2mil at best for most people. So you are looking at a 1.5 to 10 irl vs in game grinding time sink imo
If you make 600k of silver everyday ( like 2-4 Stalker CD's) (takes roughly 40 minutes) and you will make enough for premium at the wnd ofcthe month.

as a gatherer premium is well worth it in my opinion.
Just play the game and have fun. You will eventually earn enough for a month of premium.

The only thing really worth it is the 50% silver/loot/fame and the tax reduction, everything else is worthless. Focus is so minuscule its not worth bothering with and really should just be removed since it ruins the production side of the game making only things with focus actually generating profits. Seeds for crops are so expensive you wont make profits without focus making crops not worth, same with animals, if you do not use focus its not worth spending the 70k for a fawn to grow into a stag worth 5k. Islands themselves are just silver sinks and will require months to generate profits, the only way this is actually worth doing is making multiple accounts and spending $5 on a week of premium to buy an islands and then giving your main char full rights to use the islands and one day once you make your money back from having 40 islands with laborers you'll make something worth while.
Poor game design makes prem not worth $15 a month and the recent gold inflation proves people just arent spending real money on the game.

i can say that i can easily afford to buy premium and recover the 19m silver in less than 2 weeks, or a week if i am very lucky. I don't know anything about crafting, i am just a gatherer with 2 and half weeks of total playtime from both west and east. I am very proud say to say evry other p2w guy that i am playing albion without investing a single penny. I am more of a solo player but recently joined one of the top guild in east server. I am just a newbie. It's about preference on whether u r stubborn like me who doesn't want to waste money on games or a don't wanna waste ur time grinding fr everything. The latter is plain stupid, there is no point in playing the game without the grinding element and u urself are wasting ur time playing a game like albion.

@@MostIntelligentMan How long u are playing mmo rpg? The reason why people grind hero level and decent gear is only because they need them to grind pvp rank in any game they play. You know how many players unistalled albion after mist update where people stated do 300-500m pvp weekly? game lost sense after something like that when in 2017-220 to make like 500m u needed 3 years of dive dunging/ganking/zvz and u ended with stats like 12 years old kid who played mists for a week.
