Phenomenal guide man. I'll have to give some of these strats a shot. Been offline for a time now, starting to get the full loot itch. No other pvp rush like it around. Thanks for sharing insights to help people get into the solo pvp. Shit is unforgiving. That double click to attack is going to change my pvp game entirely. So sick of 180ing when trying to inspect.

you can still do static solo gank in some spots ...Bear paws ,claws and greataxe still good to dismount boars, armored horses etc . Keep up the good content =)

Doing solo stuff in BZ is really really hard there is always a group of people competing for cores and crystals and chests and a group gankers trying to kill them so its very difficult to get out alive after killing someone in a group.
In our terri we bait gankers, a gatherer collect from node and two wait out of screen. If gankers dont come with really high tear gear they dont even kill the gatherer before the support guys come. Resource nodes are really smart.

It's crucial to find a not too hot and not too cold zone if you're in red zone. Otherwise you'll either find nobody or get mauled by 20 blueberries.
Man i really want to pvp a lot but playing in sea with 275-300+ ping feels like a handicap. You need to aim ur ability to where they will be 1 second later which is easy if they go straight but more often than not they wont.

Thanks a lot for the video. I don't have a lot of experience, but with your videos I can have more malice in black and red zones. Helped me understand a little bit of the invitation while they are collecting. But ask me a question, you always inspected beforehand and assessed the enemy. I would like to know if you consider it unfeasible, not worth the effort, to gank a defensive player with a fort cape, nature staff and plate build? Or does that in no way make you give up?

My question is this, everytime I go BZ or even RZ I find NOBODY in the green dungeons, and the only fights I ever run into are zergs vs me and i die instnatly.

Quick question. I see you using fiend cowl pretty regularly. Would cripple on spear be an okay standin for that? So I could run a mage cowl for extra burst on a low IP set? I googled it, and a lot of people site the lack of range on cripple. Figured I'd ask the 1h spear master for thoughts and opinions on the matter.
Yea I often use cripple especially when going a cheap build with 4.1 or something. It is worse than fiend cowl but ok as a substitute.
@@BigLipsMcGee much thanks. Yeah, fiend cowl is a bit expensive to be just throwing away on learning ganks. Cripple it is till I get in the groove more. Is there anything that it cannot purge movement wise? Does it work on miner boots?
@@ugib8377 Well there are the normal channel and toggle runs with are impossible to purge. Royal sandals for example. Even when you're using a fiend cowl.
@@ugib8377 It doesn't work on miner work boots from what I know, since it's a debuff as well
@@FallenFromGlory I have since used cripple quite frequently since this question. It indeed does work on miner work boots btw. The speed buff and the debuff are separate. If you anticipate it, you can use the E to knock them up mid run, and cripple them as they land. Then you have 10s to beat on them while they are silenced.

Short guide: Don't do it. Ganking is overnerfed.
The only real option is to find a couple of friends. SBI pretty much removed any meaningful solo PvP in the open world.
