I am so surprised at how modern things are. It’s clean and organized. I get the feeling they are rebuilding after all the trauma they went thru. People are more relaxed. Am I right?
yes people are relaxed, and yes they made a huge step ahead in twenty years !
thanks for watching !
Nice ride, Ludo. Things are so orderly in Rwanda, unlike in some countries in west Africa!
thanks a lot for watching and sharing your feelings
Because they are afraid to be punished. That's the "good" side of dictatorship. Go check Turkmenistan and you will understand
Wow! You have so many adventures, Ludo. I love to watch your interactions with people that you meet.

My best friend is florist and he tells me that the plant in the end of the video is Datura. It has beautiful flowers but don't put it in your salad because it is poisoned :)
yes it is a poison, a very strong poison, some people tried it, because it gives hallucination, .... the won't try it again... it is deadly
Cheers 🍻

Thank you. The residents of Kinigi were nice.
6:20 The shopkeeper was really helpful ... despite the language difficulties.

At the end of this video, just in the last evening minutes before you arrived back
at the hotel, - which I also instantly liked - the sheer atmosphere was so wonderful.
Thought about smells in fact, temperatures, breeze etc. That ending made a very
nice and special personal touch to it all. You're bringing a lot of joy to people

thanks a lot for watching
Like a war zone????😁😁😁😁 be serious
❤❤❤
thank u
Hopefully you've found a banana beer maker, if not you should ask the hotel receptionist. When I travel, I always get the best advice from the hotel staff. If you are still in the Kinigi area, you should visit the Dian Fossey Center to learn about gorillas and I believe it is free.
I am not around there anymore unfortunately, and yes I found banana beer a really local one served by the grandma who did I it .this was a great experience coming in the next episodes
@Ludo Liu 2
I have a question: May I make a recommendation on this channel for a motorcycle traveler from the Netherlands who is in Africa at the moment? Of course I ask her first if I can recommend this channel on hers.
Reason: Very nice videos in top quality (4K) are created on both channels and published on different days, geographically they are not far apart at the moment, only in terms of subscribers and view numbers it is far ahead. But of course I want to ask you first!😉
Good morning, Reiner, I think you probabily speak about Noraly from itchy boots. To tell you the truth, in her first video of this season, when entering Africa, i thought i would love to meet her. I follow her adventure since a long time. I have contacted her, to try to organize a meeting her in lagos, and maybe share time together, or even collab. let's see how it happen.... it may be difficult as Noraly seems to be a very busy lady, who mostly travel only alone. But yes please ! do it !
those guys at the entrance gate
yes ? what ?
An amazing video! Now I want to go see the volcanoes. The 2 hour gorilla permit is $1500 USD in Rwanda. It is a must do bucket list item for me. I may go to Uganda or Congo where the fees are less. Congo I think may be too dangerous. I have been to Kenya and when they see light skin they think you are a millionaire. Excellent filming. I know I'll need to bring a translator on my phone as English and French are not widely spoken.
From the Congo side you ll pay only around 350usd, that s a lot better.you can organize it from Rwanda and have a tour from gisenyi
@@Ludo_Liu The Congo is the country I would most like to visit. The USA has put it on the "do not travel" list. I have to be careful as I don't speak the language and they can tell with one glance that I am not from the country. Is it worth the risk? Have you been to the Congo? It was interesting when I was in South Africa I could blend in, but once I spoke they knew I was not from the country. English yes, but American English and not South African English. I think we are kindred spirits and we both love adventure. The killer bee video scared me as I would have been dead. I'm very allergic to insect bites. I told my family if I die while traveling then it is exactly the way I want to go out. Die doing something I love.
The people in Rwanda seem beautiful and peaceful. Yes, a language barrier, but when you travel a lot you learn how to get by. I guess there is a natural curiosity to learn about people different than yourself. As an American I have to always apologize for the politics and then also explain we are all not like the Kardashians. Everyone seems to think they know us, and it is from our movies and music. It amazes me that the movies and music have been spread everywhere. Still this is fiction and that is not the reality of most of us.
❤️🇷🇼
thanks a lot for the support, it helps a lot !!!
see you Sunday for the next one !
Hello. Would you remember the name of the place you stayed? I know it is not likely, as this was some time ago, but thought I'd ask. Thank you!
hello my dear, yes I remember, it is called la gorilla place, it is close to the kinigi market, at the jonction with the road going to the volcanoe park head quarter. here is something to past on google map to see the exact location "HH2Q+9Q7, Kinigi, Rwanda" (if you look for it on the map it is not well localized)
'la paillotte gorilla place' to be more complete
@@Ludo_Liu Thank you so much and continue to be safe!
@@Ludo_Liu Thank you! My fave channel.
@@valleymuse9508 thanks a lot !!!!
On your trip there, have you noticed if Rwandans enjoy seafood? I don’t consume meat or chicken.
