Anytime something's funny, people go "There goes British humor again (minus the unfunny ones)", meanwhile my family talks like this all the time (from Russia), and I'm sure in many places in America. Dark humor has been around ever since death existed.

Its only because a lot of British comedy shows are constantly bombarded with hate from other countries despite being hits in Britain. If it wasn't for that I doubt "British humour" would be a term.

Porn is not the same as the real thing.
Sure, porn can be bad, but make no mistake, just because a guy or girl watches porn, doesnt mean that is their standards, its just the most available quick mental and physical libido itch scratch. Because dating and finding someone cool is very hard, and harder even for introverts.
That being said, the porn industry is bad, and too much porn really deteorates relationships, but i would prefer my gf to watch a movie than to go out with some bloke just because she felt some desire and I wasn't around.

What was great was that Conan knew that interfering with the two of them would ruin the chemistry. His job was to play it largely straight and let Cleese and Idle walk all over whatever direction he thought the interview would go. It was this well thought out chaos that made Python so good, and Conan was clever enough to know that the interview would be better balanced by a straight man, not a third wheel.

British humour is dry, quick and irreverent. A favourite informal skit is watching David Attenborough walking through a palace garden with the Queen and commenting on placing a sundial under the shade of an enormous tree. The Queen does not miss a beat before commenting that she will suggest that the gardener move the sundial. Both know, smile and understate the absurdity before walking on to inspect the garden. The capacity to laugh out loud plus retain any sign of amusement even when something is really hilarious or ridiculous is inherently British. When the deadpan cracks you win is the essence of the fun. The Queen is actually an acutely observant and funny woman. No wonder she loved being married to Prince Phillip. He often blurted out what she thought. Imagine their private talks after formal events.
