If you liked this video, I recommend watching this video where I go to the least visited place in New Zealand: ua-cam.com/video/U2PVzJUL9SA/v-deo.html
P.S. Send me a DM on Facebook or Instagram for the location of the waterfall! @theaudaciouspath 💜

I have 15 Mtbikes on my trademe list right now! Hard to know which one to get with some many options, but I will definitely be doing that again. I've been watching heaps of UA-cam videos to learn how to not fall off!!! 💜💜💜

As a kiwi living in Brizzy, I have never stopped in Rotorua.
I've been through it many a time, but I have no interest in stopping there.
I know the history of the place, but ill leave it to the tourist...😂

Yah, it definitely has a reputation for being a tourist destination, but I've gone back twice now to various sites, and have seen no one on various hikes. I think one's experience largely depends on what activities you do. 💜

i am feeling jealous of you 😡😭... gosh those are some beautiful locations Dan 😇... hey one more thing... please don't use the phone's stabilizer... it feels like robotic janky footage... use a small gimbal instead😇

I feel so lucky to live here and finally see the country!
Which clip stood out to you as stabilised? I don’t use a stabiliser on camera but rather in production. When I watched some of the clips on a Tele, they made me feel sick, so had to do something. Let me know which one, and I can learn what type of clips it’s overkill.
Also, thanks! You’re always so helpful with the feedback!!! 💜💜💜

@@TheAudaciousPath during the car drive and after 3:04... the whole jungle footage looks janky... i think you accidently hit the stabilizer option and it just stayed on... the footage from front cam looks fine... the footage from rear cam are janky... you can use the dji gimbal or even steadycam for phones are great idea... or use those 2 hand video rig for phone...

Heya! Thanks for that. This is so interesting. So I use Davinci Resolve for editing, and i stabilise each clip individually rather than the whole timeline. I did try out the in camera stabilisation on the DSLR, which is the forest footage. Ill have a look at that on the tv. The only clips I stabilised in post is me walking into the forest and me biking. No stabiliser on the car footage.
I did have a DJI gimbal for a while, but it’s super impractical for what I do. The case doesn’t allow you to keep your balance settings, so you have to rebalance every time. It’s also quite a heavy item to lug around in addition to the camera, water and winter gear. I think I might try one for the phone though! That’s a great idea! 💜

@@TheAudaciousPath aah davinci have 3 different stabilization... check which one suits your clip... for every clip, doing a stabilization run is a pain in the back... use a video rig Dan (smallrig steel rig for DSLR)... handy and fixed with a wide length to hold... wide hand grip wont stabilize your footage like a buttery smooth, but wont shake it like crazy... vlog actually need that human touch to it... so a bit shaky is good... and say no to digital stabilization... it impacts the quality of the footage

as a kiwi i am loving your channel keep up the good work!
and if you want to use music made by a kiwi in your videos, I am based in Christchurch and have copy right free music on my channel you can use for whatever you'd like! the remixes are the only ones that I can't say are copyright free because they include other artists music, but if it doesn't say remix or cover, it's all yours to use copyright free (:
