Already a Legend. So important to have players like Bannan and Palmer who are just as passionate about SWFC as we are. Must keep him at the club for years to come.
Really humble guy and we're lucky to have him. He will finish his playing career at Wednesday and maybe take on a coaching role at the club. He's been a brilliant servant to the club for the past 7 years.
Whatever he's on he's worth every single penny. He doesn't belong anywhere near league 1. Top professional never cries or sulks, impeccable attitude always shows up and takes responsibility. I've been a wednesdayite for over 40 years and he's one of the best players to pull on the shirt.
Any1 manager or future manager that releases this man after the loyalty he’s shown us should be ashamed after what this man has brought to us loyalty is rare this day and age i Hope we can repay him
Premiership should be an ambition but its not the be-all and end-all. Bannan seems to have his priorities sorted. Wednesday so lucky to have a player of his talents and attitude.
With Moore saying a top top championship side wanted to sign him and for bazza to turn round and say he wanted to stay because he believes in the project and his teammates he is an absolute legend
What more can he do? class✓availability ✓effort✓ longevity ✓commitment✓. Who has been more of a legend in the last two decades. Only other candidate, Liam Palmer. UTO.
So lucky we've had Barry with us for so long, served the club brilliantly.
What a top man. Best player in League 1 by a mile. Where would Wednesday be without him? If ever a footballer deserves promotion it’s Barry Bannan.

Brilliant, totally iconic captain.
A good honest interview ⚽️
I'm a Blade through and through but got to say Banan has been a great servant for the team that plays at S6.
Not only a fantastic player, but a brilliant human being. WE'VE GOT BANNAN
