Just run a fire service properly without the virtue signalling and popular causes! I don't care if a female firefighter or one from a traditional non-english speaking background arrives at my emergency, I just care that they can do the job because they were the best candidates selected on merit and talent - not to meet a self pleasing quota of "reflecting the community we serve" - that does not save lives and put out fires!
