▶Remember, he never had time to become a solo beatboxer. After he was chosen as the beatboxer in the new a cappella grp he + brother Chris started in Univ. They're very tall, kind, funny songwriters, arrangers, oroducers, milti-instrumentalists (yep) who Loove the challenge if a cappella. ▶Adam's the best in-the-a-cappella-biz, could be one of the best regular solo bboxers out there, but no time. Consider in all that, he's pretty amaazing!! He bboxes a full concert + -10 min. solo each night!! He= 🔥🔥😊
guys if you want to hear some of Adam's stellar work for Home Free check out their cover of Sawyer Brown's early 1990's classic "Some Girls Do", he also is awesome on "Mayday"....also on their collb on (Bye bye Miss) American Pie he goes on for nearly 8 minutes and their latest, "Traveling Soldier", where near the end, he sounds like a military snare drum...it's incredible.
I'd add Proud To Be An American with Lee Greenwood and the US Air Force Band (the Singing Sergeants) to the mix - Adam does some awesome work in that one as well, including the sound of a flyover at the very end.
The looks on your faces when he really got into it was priceless! This is the best reaction to this video I've ever seen! I have seen this live...and he has gotten even better over the years ! I just subbed for more Home Free!
Thank you gentlemen for reacting to my favorite member of Home Free! Adam’s solos from 2019 are even more outstanding. Some Girls Do, Traveling Soldier, Folsom Prison Blues and Mayday showcase his amazing talent! Adam Rupp arranged HF phenomenal version of Do You Hear What I Hear that leaves me speechless! 🤯🤯😁
I don't think he plays drums (could be wrong) but he most definitely plays......... a trumpet! (Explains the circular breathing technique that Adam uses to avoid passing out doing those insane drum rolls)
I don't think he actually plays the drums but I read in a past interview he did learn enough to look like he plays. He's a hoot to watch in Folsom County Blues.
The simulator-drummer coped with a difficult task perfectly! You, dear ones, listened to it so deliciously! I looked and rejoiced, looking at you. I've never seen anything like this before. It's an interesting experience. Thank you, friends!
This is why Adam Rupp was voted "World's Best Beat Boxer Of The World" 2 years in a row, by his peer's. This was filmed in 2015, and he's added a whole bag of tricks since then, like playing a harmonica- without the harmonica, he can mimic the sounds of a fog horn, cassinets, assorted bird sounds, a jet flying over head, and a bunch of other sounds. Loved your reaction. I just subbed in hopes of seeing more Home Free.
@@dicodec My comment was to @Cindy Flory. In many reaction videos she keeps commenting about this voting where Adam was voted the best bb by his peers, but doesn’t tell when and where. I’ve been following HF quite some time already, but have found no info about it. Another false thing that goes around is that Adam has won two World Championships. He never competed internationally, only locally, winning two sweepstakes more than a decade ago. And oh, thanks for the fun reaction, Dicodec!
Discovered you due to Adam (1/5 of Home Free as you saw at the beginning). Great reaction, guys! Y’all were totally in awe and amazement, which most of us Home Fries (Home Free fans nickname) have been for quite some time, and still remain! Just imagine how much better he is since 2015! He never stops learning and keeping current.
Great reaction. I know acapella isn't really in your wheel house so I appreciate the fact that you really listen to the music. You are always entertaining. These are the reasons I became a patron. Thanks for reacting to my suggestion.
@@dicodec Sadly, I have not (yet, but I'm hoping). At their 2014 concert in Fargo, ND, I asked the man next to me if he had seen Home Free before. He said he had and that he was Adam Rupp's father in law (so I'm sure he had seen him a whole lot of times!) We had a great chat, as Adam and his wife were just expecting their baby girl. What a sweet, down-to-earth man he was.
Adam is my favorite, so glad you did this, you must watch his more up to date one's he's even more awesome now. He taught himself to play drums just so he could use the right moves when doing his beat boxing. When I first saw him, I thought what the heck, I called him Adam the Alien, even the band say he's not human. Now he's just my beast boxer, he's awesome. 🕶 😍😍
Great Reaction as Usual!!!! Y'all Always have so much fun during your reactions!!!! You should also check out their covers of "All about that Bass","Folsom Prison Blues", "Man of Constant Sorrow", "Elvira" ft. The Oak Ridge Boys (The Original Singers of Elvira), "End of the Road" by Boys II Men, & Their Mashup "Butts Remix", "Amazing Grace" to name a few!!!!
Thanks so much Christie. This one was a blast for sure. We definitely need to check out more so the reccomendations are appreciated. We actually did do a reaction to Man of Constant sorrow if you want to check it out.
That was insane. You had great sound on that vid too. Adam is amazing. Sometimes you say why have instruments when you have Adam? Hope you’ll keep checking Home Free out. Adam is tremendous. Great reaction Dicodec!
Yeah, we made sure this guy wasn't a miss! And how he flirted with the public! He was given a decent reception. I think there were no indifferent in the hall. Thank you, dear, for the reaction!

Adam has a degree in Trumper performance and he plays his trumpet before every performance. He says that it helps him with his stamina when beatboxing.
Your reaction was hilarious! Just like mine when I first saw this! There is no sound he can not make i am sure of it! He IS truly a "freak of nature" as the Hone Fries call him. Extraordinary artist!
Да, мы убедились, что этот парень не промах! А как он заигрывал с публикой! Ему оказали достойный приём. Думаю в зале равнодушных не было. Спасибо, дорогие, за реакцию!
By the way, all the members of Home Free can do some beatboxing as they demonstrate in the video taken at a live concert member "9-5 Beatboxing Breakdown".
Greetings from a danish fry / new sub , this is why the fries call Adam -- MR. FREAK OF NATURE . we also say he must have swallowed a drumkit LOL . Much love from Denmark
Rupp's primary instrument is trumpet. He is the only HF member who does not have advanced training as a vocalist, which helps explain why he rarely sings.
I saw them live about two years ago and he was much better than this and has gotten even better. I have tickets for November and am really looking forward to another "drum solo".
