Good comment on taping the safety on the handled throttle in. I have used these since invented as I am a 74 year old arborist. This company bought the original Power Pruner. It is a bit more delicate than the Stihl version and less power but it has more reach and is lighter and easier to handle (doesn't try to twist in your hands due to balance). I own both and glad I do. When one breaks or is stolen I can't live without one and just buy another of both or either.

Thanks. echo makes this without the curved trigger m use gloves of the strap it comes with 😂 but its rock solid. Keep a tune up kit handy 🔥 killer tool

Thanks for video! According to Echo site the regular 2620 has the handle like yours and the 2620h has the inline trigger like a weedeater. After you saying you don't like the handle on the one you got I think I'll get the inline trigger.

Black tape on the trigger lock that's what we did. Right now I'm trying to figure out why the shaft keeps coming apart inside and the blade stops turning. We even got a new black part that extends. We have it for work at a golf course and it's an awesome tool. We have the ppt 265 model

The coupling infront of the killswitch needs to be tight I've had one come apart and had to shim it to get it to tighten up enough .

Gloves with rubber palm grip will help out.

Recommend bat grip for the pole where you hold it 🎉

Sir, you have the (2620 with the curved handle) NOT the 2620H, just sayin' : )
Strange, because most reviews say that they like the curved handle.
I need to buy one soon, they are price now at: $629.99 as of 6/29/24
BUT now I don't know what handle to buy, they don't have these models at the store so we can't even try it out and hold them. What a conundrum!

I'm not sure if you found a way to get a better grip on the pole saw? I wrapped the black foam that from home Depot, Lowes or any hardware store. Its for outside handlers ( air conditioners) they come in different sizes and cost effective.

Tho - over a year old .. . . piece of Bicycle Tire Tube slid over pole to area needed may help.

    Thanks for doing this video!
I was about to order one of these PPT2620H saws, but wasn't sure which handle to get (the "H" gets you a straight, conventional handle, I believe. Its what I'll get)
Yeah, it takes a day to really wring out a piece of gear. Your commentary is very fair. Just be glad you're not appraising one of the cheap chinese pole saws.

I wish thats what I would have got, other than that and the weight its a great saw! Plenty of power!

Did you ever end up getting used to the loop handle trigger? Accidently ordered one with the loop and don’t know if I should cancel and start over again with the straight shaft throttle

Why are you not using a shoulder strap to help take some of the weight off your hands?
