  • In this presentation, we will focus on the Solar PV Power Plant Controller, also known as PPC sometimes called the GRID Controller. We will also cover the electrical aspects of the Power Triangle, the Power Factor, and how it’s related to the PPC and the overall Grid controller operation.
    Then we’ll move forward with each of the individual Control requirements.
    We’ll also tackle PPC hardware selection criteria and recognize those challenges being faced by PV Power Plant owners or Grid Operators while working with PPCs and some common Acronyms and terminologies at the very end.

    Great job ! Sound is not the best, but I hope it will be improved in the future.
    Please share more content related to selection of components on PV plants. I am waiting also for the movie about curtailment of power :)

      Thanks! my apologies for the medium audio levels, as different set of HW & SW yields different results.
      absolutely! will share it asap!

      It's a good and timely goal to enter the renewable industry, now more than ever. I'll try to come up with more straight forward topics based on my experience and share it with everyone. If in case you have any suggestion or topic in mind, please feel free to add it on the comments section so I can try and build a training video for it. Thanks!

    I understand SCADA systems is not required for a solar farm below 1MW to tie into grid. So, what controller, if any, is required of them?

    Dear, would You be offering freelancing services of designing Power Plant controller for 10+ MW PV plant?

    • @SCADASupportPh
      @SCADASupportPh  2 місяці тому

      @petarmaric6240 you'd need a team -probably of 5 or 6 personnel, that would include surveyor, electrical engineers for PV as well as cost estimators to successfully design a 10+MW PV Power Plant. I could recommend folks from the US or in Europe. Where are you located by the way?

      @@SCADASupportPh Thank You for Your answer. I am just interested in someone expertise of designing the Power plant controller for the solar plant. The plant has already been designed but the power plant controller needs to be designed. I am located in Croatia,Europe.

      @mengteklex5567 you are 100% correct on the audio quality, didn't realize it during final QA. Will definitely improve this. Thanks!
