Our Target doesnt even have stock-from-behind coolers for milk and stuff which would make FIFO easier. Even for other dairy stuff like cheese...having a stock from behind shelving would make more sense for having more fresh stuff toward the back.
what’s your best advice for staying healthy while working in meat dairy and frozen? sometimes i do get sniffles from working in the freezers all day and feel sick but it tends to disappear or get better over the week.
Can someone help me I made the virtual interview and the next day I received an email that say good news we want to talk with about the interview and make me to create I phone call I would like to know what it really mean they will talk about the interview or about to offer the job ? 🙏🏼
@@lolcarloz crossing my fingers I like it and stay there, I’m used to the medical field and this is just a part time job for me so I hope it works out 😬
what position do you work? I just got hired as a seasonal food & beverage expert. Is that what you're doing in this video or any info that you know of about that position?? thanks!
i do Food & Beverage at my store. I start each day tidying up our area, which is called zoning at Target. It's similar to "facing" at other retail stores... pulling product forward, facing all the labels the same way, removing clutter, etc then you stock until the bulk of the day which comes from the truck is done. what i'm mainly doing in this video though is dairy which i will make a video about soon.
Depends when you come in. I go in at 4, so usually you either stock then unload truck then stock more or unload truck then stock the rest of the day. If there's no truck then you just stock the whole time. You work with people when you unload truck or if you are in a heavy area, like right now there's a shitload of toys coming in so you'll work with someone most likely, but for me I've been in pets the last couple days alone. I've been working there the past 2 weeks btw so this is my experience with it so far.
depends on the store really, last target store i worked at for this department i had someone else to help me stock. with this store im basically on my own doing the work along with my TL helping of course. and thanksgiving and Christmas every employee is off for those days.
That’s totally normal! Orientation can feel a little overwhelming, but it’s really just a first step. Remember, everyone there is also adjusting too for the holidays, and it’s okay to be a bit nervous.
I winged it and the virtual interview and got the job. It was the easiest hiring process I’ve had just put experience that you have.. I think that’s what helped is more experience in customer service.
I’m a lot attendant at Home Depot and it’s the worst job I’ve ever had!! I’ve done a lot of different jobs and this one is by far the worst! Be a cart attendant at target would be a cake job but the pay is low! At Home Depot I get 16.85 an hour but it’s hell!! Loading things up for customers while also getting carts, flat beds and lumber carts while also doing the trash and waters!! It’s constant chaos!! Plus where I live it’s been like 95 degrees out!! My coworkers don’t help out at all I barely even have time to take a 15 min break!! The manager is constantly having to come out and help bc I’m always falling behind!! Then the managers give me an attitude and act like I don’t do anything all day!
I hate when im stocking stuff and it takes longer to find where something goes cuz another worker decided to put the wrong item on the shelf
man i felt that, alot of people here are new so they misplace items on shelves all the time.
I’m about to go back in for inbound/stocking as well, haven’t been there since like 2016 😂 thank you for this 🙏🏻
oh man i haven’t worked there since 2022 and things literally have changed so much, your gonna be a employee out of time!!!
Is there a way to stick around doing the same thing every day wich department offers that?
Great Job man keep up the great work Chase that bag chase that money don’t let the money chase you!
Appreciate it!
Orientation in about a week, appreciate the early inside look!
Omg how was it and do you think someone with social anxiety can make it at this job?😅
@@Channel24377I have social anxiety and i’m starting today so I’ll let you know inna few weeks 😭😭 (I work in the deli though)

I have orientation today for GM. Gosh I'm nervous. Just wanna do a good job
don't worry you'll do good, target doesn’t have high expectations for it's new members!

FDC!!! Hell on earth everytime
haha worst times of my life working at target!
What is the best position there? I got hired for fulfillment and I have my orientation in 3 days 😝
it's either GM or Consumables, all you do is stock and pretty much that's it. not alot of people stick around for fullfillment tho
@@lolcarlozfor some reason I was thinking fulfillment was pulling orders for the online orders that pickup in stores 😂
It’s an easy job it's just the managers expectations are high haha!@@alexaflores9338

Quick question do others work with you or you just work by yourself and do you have to work on holidays

I just got this video suggested to me, as a 10 yr. Vet at Target, I am just asking, are you ok? Sometimes its a struggle with this company
oh yeah im fine now, thank you for asking. i work somewhere else now that’s double the pay so that's good!
I got orientation at 2 and I’m nervoussss idk whyyy😫😫
That’s totally normal! Orientation can feel a little overwhelming, but it’s really just a first step. Remember, everyone there is also adjusting too for the holidays, and it’s okay to be a bit nervous.
how much do they pay per hour ? and can i change it into part time if i got hired for full time

18.25 in modesto california
They Pay $15.50 a hour in Columbus,Ohio

You got any tips for what to put on your resume so you get called for an interview?
Totally open availability for the first 90 days in the most important thing.

@@Jmm19477 yeah I’ve been working at Lowe’s for a minute now just worried hearing about how tough target is supposedly to get hired at
So even though you worked for target for a while are you getting starting pay?
sadly no, each target pays differently depending on the area though. since i left my raises left aswell
@lolcarloz oh sorry to hear that are you hired as seasonal?
yes but i have a feeling that they will keep me! @@mroverpaid1

What exact position did you apply for
Food And Beverages
He’s got the worst of it with the freezer you have got have ice blood to deal with that shit
i loved it though. even if i was working in the freezers in december haha
I applied for stocking but was hired for receiving 🤔
I assume you know this by now but receiving/inbound team are the stockers
Less recording more working.
