Note 1: "Positivism" is the name assigned to the original sentiment that led people away from governance by the Church and into science. The view that "universal objective truth exists and will be built and discovered through collection of evidence and the theories that result from this data." Kuhn speaks of a more relativistic perspective, saying, "No, this process is not so purely objective and rational. Science acts more like a religion or a culture actually, where everyone speaks from a set of accepted principles. A field's crisis is the ONLY time when it becomes open to the adoption of a new paradigm that resolves the crisis." Note 2: The Fe type's view of meaning is "how can I be of service for mankind?" The Fi type's view of meaning is "how can I honor what I am experiencing within me?" The Se type's view of meaning is "how can I experience everything I want to experience?" The Si type's view of meaning is "how can I build a worthy past?" The Ni type's view of meaning is "what do I see?" The Ne type's view of meaning is "what hasn't been considered yet?" The Te type's view of meaning is "what makes it real?" The Ti type's view of meaning is "what fits the rest of the framework?"
I really like your take. I find myself right now trying to actually work on Fi so i can actually be able to find authentic Ti. I have recently realised that a lot of us intp need to understand our emotional needs so we can go out in the world with meaning of what it is we want to achieve. When you have confidence in yourself you have confidence in approaching others point of view because your worth is not determined by only just logic but also personal belief so you are able to accept others for who they are rather than them being just different they become more unique people with unique preferences. I think it’s a really good backbone for our Fe because it will not be an insecurity but more so a weakness that we can grow.
Interesting. I think you’re going a good way. I personally see Ne in what you are doing. And actually, quite like Kuhn’s books, what I see myself do in my Ne exploration is I inevitably gather contradictions that defeat my own Ti conclusions, requiring reconstruction. This is by design. :) This “insecurity” is eventually recognized to be intended. Perhaps I can say it this way. When I was young, I thought I needed to find some stable ground to build my confidence on, but then, I discovered that I was a boat, and the “ground” was water that was constantly in flow. And the solution is not to find solidity, but rather to accept the constant instability as inherent in my thought process. Heh. But hey, it all starts with the courage to explore.
@ absolutely, Ne is our parent function. For intp to actually learn and evolve theor Ti and Fi we need Ne. We are the type of people who need stimulation in our surroundings all the time otherwise we fall hard ( i have learned that the hard way). We need to always push and challenge ourselves with new ideas through training at the gym or taking a class in something we are interested in or just in general everything we can do to better ourselves. I think your point about Si is valid but i do think we do need to hear what they have to say on how hard we have to work all the time. I think how an intp should approach hard work is definitely different but still we need to listen to people’s ideas. I love your videos btw i wish i could be in a room with just to argue and talk 🤣
@@bedazzledhobo6200 Awesome. Glad to hear it. It's a crazy thing to realize in this deceptively large world... show enough people a message, eventually you find people who resonate! The "long tail". I think I am in the process of finding out just how true this is. :)
