I have no idea what Vince's issue was with the doc. If you ask me, it was really light. Behind the Bastards did a six-parter on him about a year ago that's much better. There's so much more to the story.
Lol! You're not freaking anywhere close to "old" at 43.. if you feel "old" at that number, you can't possibly imagine how you all would feel when, and if, you even reach Vince's age.. Bobby Lasley is pushing 50 in a hurry and he's about to have one of the biggest runs of his career in AEW
The Vince documentary filled in the black as a life long fan of the WWE. I believe it serves as a time capsule of what wrestling was back then. This doc proves that he is the greatest promoter of all time. That is not disputed. But at the same time at what cost.
Sadly I don’t think we’ll ever get the full story from anyone. This is probably the last time anyone has that kind of access to Vince and he quit after the lawsuit.
Just finished watching the Vince McMahon Netflix documentary and I think it's one of the best I've seen! I'll give it a 9/10. awesome editing, great stories, awesome rare footage and photos, (some that I've never seen before) I think they could have interview more people but other then that very entertaining to watch and worth watching, whether ur a wrestling fan or not. I wish they had people like, Jim Cornette and Jim Ross and Vince Russo, jerry McDevitt, Kevin Nash, Ric Flair, Bruno Sammartino, Kurt Angle etc
That's why Greg said it very much felt like a WWE produced video.. like those old Coliseum Video VHS from WWF.. It had nothing but excusively WWE people.. Having people like Cornette and Bruno kick dirt at Vince would had led to some cracks at the partnership Netflix developed with WWE..
First off man you've always been a damn good speaker and commentator, even down to your timing have yourself a 2 hour window pretty much nailed it without rushing or anything great video 2nd i haven't seen the doc but sounds like as you said, wrestling fans aren't hearing anything all too new...I feel a Vince documentary will almost never be 100 percent authentic as Vince will pretty much never give the full undisclosed story, what a shame
Iv watched all 6 episodes and it was very good,a few things of the top of my head is the fact Vince actually let the show continue when a wrestler died in his ring is absolutely disgusting,he put money before a man dying, the show should of been cancelled and the fans refunded or the show should of been rescheduled and the fact that Bruce Pritchard defended him at the end tells me if he is working for WWE still they should get rid of Bruce because he is part of the Vince McMahon crew,Vince was a bully and when you’re a billionaire and you have that much money, you think you could just buy your way out of trouble and finally it caught up with him but if he never sold the company he would probably still be there
Tinfoil Hat Time: I bet this Netflix deal has been in negotiations a lot longer than we think. So, the original purpose of this doc might've been to schmooze over Vince and WWE. But, halfway through production, all the allegations came out, which forced them to change course to distance themselves from Vince, but not go too far to where it'll bury WWE. After all, they want as many people to watch Raw as possible
You are absolutely right. I’m pretty sure this documentary was supposed to be a positive documentary, which is why you have so many Talking Heads if this was a negative documentary that was supposed to talk about how horrible of a person Vince McMahon is you wouldn’t have as many Talking Heads, cause you’re not ever gonna see Trish on the dark side of the ring or John Cena and sure as heck not the undertaker they will never be on a dark side of the ring but yeah, after the allegations came out, they had to change it
I enjoyed the doc. It didn't paint Vince as a good guy like a regular WWE produced doc would have done. Some of my non wrestling friends saw it and came away that Vince is a piece of shit and deserves to rot in jail.
Vince McMahon is very evil person what in hell Wong this guy I don't like Vince McMahon not all Vince McMahon is a devil I'm very sorry for Shame McMahon and Stephanie McMahon Vince McMahon is a monster we wrestling fans want war games at survivor series in 2002 but Vince McMahon not like 2 Ring get that stupid elimination chamber I'm very mad at Vince McMahon do that

The Buggles Video Killed The Radio Star was the first ever video when MTV started damn 43yrs ago we're old Greg 🤣👍

You told us for years how fucked up and creepy the wrestling business was but I didn’t fully understand it until now.

Wasn’t taker taken to hospital after his match and vince left with him mid show
