- Todd Chrisley took a stand for his family. The reality star recently posted a photo with his 7-year-old granddaughter Chloe. Someone commented on the photo, “Im sorry I don’t like it marry your own color it really screws up the kids.” Todd responded saying, “Hello Patti, I hope that the lord lets you live long enough to see that color doesn’t screw kids up, but ignorance and hate most certainly will, I will pray that god tempers your heart and (that) he grants you clarity.”

People like Racist Patti don't change. They were taught that kind of hate and ignorance from birth and I doubt she's going to change at whatever age she is. Judging by the name "Patti" I'm gonna go out on a limb and say she's at least 40 years old. You can't change a racist overnight. The best thing you can do is ignore them and hope they don't procreate so they can't spill that hatred over to the next generation and let them die alone.

Unfortunately there are a lot more bi racial kids dealing with this than Chloe. Sad, a lot of the time it’s there own family who berates them. I know a few personally.
Well said. My four grandchildren and two great grandchildren are biracial and the loves of my life, including my daughter, of course. Chloe is a beautiful little girl and blessed to have the family she has, and is being taught in a blessed environment.

I have a tri-racial great niece. I am white, my niece is white and latina and she married a really smart, kind, loving young man...highly educated like his wife, graduate level, who happens to be black or African American. Like Todd, I lived thru busing, ignorance etc and was raised that you treat people the way you want to be treated. We all bleed red blood. Ignorance is racism...racism is ignorance. How could I not love my niece who is white and latina or my great niece who is the most beautiful combination of all....LOVE🥰

I love Todd's response to that ignorant and vile woman. He could have gone way in on her as he is known for, but his response was a good lesson for Chloe. By him not going off like he usually does he reads her and puts her in place peacefully. Showing just how wonderful parents him and his wife Julie are and strive to be. Chloe will look back on this and learn that you dont need to return hate with hate and violence to make known where you stand. You can read people and put them in place respectfully. A good parent teaches by example and Todd has done that in this situation for his granddaughter by not returning hate for hate, but to educate. I Love this family and how they represent what a nuturing, supportive and loving family should be.
That child is blessed with a loving and kind family. She will grow up great, kind and super strong. God bless that family.
Unfortunately, Todd Chrisley has to now give his grand-daughter, "The Talk" . Its culturally common for parents or grand-parents to give their children "the talk" in the U.S. if he children are non-white. That woman got off easy; if you know Todd.
