Thanks for tapping in. As a duo, they are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Before the draft, I said the Sparks should draft both of them. We're in L .A. so I was calling for it for the home team; the Sky ended up making it happen. If they keep them together, and continue to hone their respective crafts, The Sky should find itself in a good place...and yes, it would be good to see them work on playing them together for most of the game. ~DP
Appreciate you tappin in! I believe I made mention to the fact that we're doing them a disservice because we haven't studied the wnba in depth but it may have been in the longer version of the conversation. We're new to the WNBA so it is a conversation we want to have while understanding that we don't know it all. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. ~ Bong
Angel has the ability to become Aja, she was a PG in high school, we’ve seen her shoot threes. She was 4/4 for 15ft away. Cardoso needs better footwork, but she can also shoot mid range shoots. Reese also has a quick first step. They both actually have an even upside. Cardoso stat line could be 20pts 12rbs, Angel stat line could be 25pts 10rbs
Appreciate you tappin in. We've had this conversation before. They definitely both have high upside, I'm just more of an Angel fan so I've studied a lot more of her game. But sky is the limit for them both (no pun intended). ~ Bong
Angel has the bigger upside. If Angel only got her field goal percentage to 50%.. She would be averaging 20 - 25 pts a game plus her rebounds. She would be a 25/13 player.
Once again, appreciate the commentary. We had a previous conversation (probably a short video version as well) where I made the argument that AR could have legitimately gone 2nd. Obviously team needs and style of play all play a factor but her at 7 with as decorated of a career she had before the draft was very odd. It's like they really didn't believe her game would translate. Crazy. ~ Bong
It is better to evaluate them as a package. They should play together for most of the game. The combined force of the two should be undefeatable.

This is a good conversation, but it doesn't seem like everyone is familiar enough with their games to fully discuss.

Aja Wilson 😳🤣
Thanks for tappin in! I'm talking upside. Time will tell though.

I'm ok with the Sky drafting KC first, but 5 and 6 are the really interesting picks for me. AR went 7th.
