About This Game (from steam)
Welcome to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2, the most ridiculous and insane battle simulator in existence! Create eye watering battles with hundreds of thousands, and even millions of characters on screen! Sandbox mode will return, with infinite army sizes and far greater flexibility than ever. Command your armies in RTS mode with full drag select army control, or get the job done yourself and play as any one of the units in 3rd or 1st person. In coming updates for early access, jump into multiple story and player driven campaigns or make your own and share them with your friends! Note: you don’t need to ignore the chapter limit. Black Templars are perpetually “on crusade,” which is a rules loophole that allows them to be above the 1000 battle brothers limit in the codex.
Beat me to it. They basically have like 20k.
The only other chapter that is similiar is dark angels, who use the "different chapters" loop hole, since most of their successor chapters answer to original chapter.
Black templars could have as much as 100000 brothers as they stretch all around the galaxy in small seperate groups each equivelant to a chapter on the move recruiting their own members

Black Templars are a successor chapter of the Imperial Fists and are not Codex Astartes compliant. There are tens of thousands of Black Templars. They use a loophole in the Codex that if a chapter is on crusade then they aren't limited to 1k members. They are under a never ending Crusade.
I came to say because of their Crusade, the Black Templars found the loophole to exceed that limit. But you probably said it better than I would have. : )
Honestly considering that before the orbital bombardment the loss ratio was 100k to 1 the orbital bombardment helped the demons more than the Black Templars

@@jtjames79honestly, the commisar or someone higher probably would have punished the dude with something worse than becoming a servitor cause they just killed 500 space marines, basically half of a codex conpliant chapter.
FYI: After a battle with Chaos forces, the Imperium cleanses the site with fire and psychic wards, and the Inquisition leaves people behind to keep an eye on the site.
Human soldiers are usually either neutered, killed or sent to another front, while Astartes just go off to the next battle
I mean, I can imagine an exception is made for Krieg, 'cause why waste perfectly good zealots? I imagine they are just relocated to the next massacre.
@@chinangelYeah, I don't think there's much that can be done to a Kriegsman to make him any less susceptible to chaos....they're pretty much immune at this point. Just gotta figure out how to get the rest of humanity into their head space now and the Emperor would be set
Kinda makes me wanna see Necron units in here since I found out they were in the first version of UEBS. Mostly cuz I’m a somewhat a Necron fan.

The black Templars actually don’t follow the codex Astartes so they do have as many space marines as they want. They actually are suspected to have around 5000 marines lol so not actually inaccurate

@@ChaoticPinkysince no one bothered properly explained it to you. It's not that the Black Templars don't follow the Codex Astartes it's the fact they use a loophole that you can exceed 1,000 Astartes if your on a Crusade so the Templars just don't stop Crusading lol
Imagine being one of the black templars deep inside that sea of demons, just crashing around you like waves of seawater. I don't think you'd even bother thinking about swordsmanship at that point. You'd simply close your eyes and flail your chainsword all around you in maniacal fashion. And every single blind swing is 100% guarunteed to hit a demon.
A target rich environment
It's actually stated quite often that target rich melee's simply devolve into wild swinging, some like the Lunar Wolves would empty a full boltor barrage and then follow up with melee.

You know black templars probably have closer to 5k marines than 1k, admittedly rare to have the whole chapter in one place cause they're spread out across many crusade fleets n that'd make it obv to the inquisition if they were all deployed as one! ❤
They have 10-20k iirc
Before the re-awakening of Guilliman the Black Templars (first led by Sigismund, former 1st captain of the Imperial Fists woth the 2nd founding after the Heresy) numbered roughly 3000 to 4000 strong, after the Prinaris,were inserted that number almost doubled. In fact most chapters are around 1500 to 2000 strong at this point. Even the Crimson Fists who were down to around 300 members are back at full strength again.
Just no one tell on the Dark Angels the the other Unforgiven who are a legion in disguise si ce their supreme grand masters (of the DA) retained full authority over the successor chapters.
So regarding the Black Templars numbers. While space marine chapters post heresy are supposed to be limited to 1000 marines, there's a few chapters that have more. Because the BT are fleet based, known as Crusade Fleets, and there's more then one crusade fleet. Their numbers could be a lot more. (At least that's how the lore used to be)

btw - I recommend C-RAM and TOS-1mods, those things absolutely shreds, can serve as static heavy bolter and rocket arty units.
Finally, an ACCURATE Warhammer battle. All the others involve:
1. Not enough enemies
2. Stupid descisions
3. The Imperium is too underpowered

I'm pretty sure that "Nuke it from orbit" move at the end there *is* the standard cleanup technique. Leave not one atom next to another, sort of thing. They'd usually let at least the Astartes get to minimum safe first though. Usually ;)

I can see how this fight goes either way. I think a lot of it depends on the AI of the troops. How far the Black templars push, do the Kriegs men and tanks keep up with them or chase some other random demon etc. Most fights I see the melee troops push so far they lose fire support and die off, or the swarms manage to out flank them and kill the tanks.
Another big issue is if they don't push forward enough the body piles block lines of sight, and makes the fire support far harder as they can't see anything till they push over the hill. Which happened in a lot of your older battles where the defending troops were fixed to a single position.
That orbital bombardment is the most impressive explosion at good FPS I have ever seen in a game
Im pretty sure bloodletters dont absorb or get more powerful from the blood, but their hellblades get stronger the more they kill.
Man they were weak as hell for most of this fight then, should of killed some fellow demons I reckon :P
Yeah... you want Grey Knights or Sisters of Silence for this.... Also, the Codex Astartes allows for chapters to go above 1000 battle brothers if they're on crusade. So, naturally, the black templars have been on perpetual crusade.

5000 black templars.... thats just about right for a single regular Black Templar chapter on crusade... might possibly even be understrength
In regards to the cleanup of tainted locations the Emperor's Holy Inquisition comes in and if I tell you any more they'll come for both of us too.
The Black Templars don't adhere to Gullimans Codex Astartes, so 5,000 Templars isn't beyond the realm of possibility.
I say we make this battle official Canon.

Hey chaoticpinky I've watched this video many times and I have to say this is one of my favourite battles ever ..just to watch the black temple's charge into the frontline of battle is absolutely iconic and cutting down deamons in their path ..humanity prevails when the god emperor sends his angles of death
Humanity prevails when the modmaker makes the units with *wild* bias unjustified in the lore or table-top. Imperium lickspittle, your precious angels should by all rights have drowned in blood along with their precious corpse-emperor.
That was nothing short of incredible. A literal river of blood while templars just lawnmower over the daemons. Also as others have probably said already, your are allowed to have more than 1000 marines if you're on a crusade so the Templars found a loophole where if they're always on a crusade then they can just keep recruiting. So you're good on that.

Actually the black Templars do not followed the codex and they have an estimated number range about 6,000 or 7,000 so technically this is could be lore accurate
The Black templars have around 5000 to 6000 spead across crusader fleets. So even though it would be very rare, it's not impossible for this to be accurate.
Khorne does sound corny, but Krone just reminds me of the Eldar Crone Worlds (the original Eldar planets) named after their now dead Crone Goddess.

The black Templars are a fleet chapter that don’t really adhere to the codex, so these numbers make sense. They are not bound to a 1000 space marines.
I want to see a wall of Carnifexes!! A complete swarm of Fexes.
The Black Templar are not really following the codex limitation on the number of battle brothers, so five thousand Black Templars is not in conflicedt with the lore.

Nah dude 5,000 black templars is 100% lore accurate. No one knows just how many there really are. There are so many Black Templars that some believe they are at full Legion strength. There are so many Black Templars that the main fleet lost track of some for so long that they are effectively successor chapters of them that don't even remember that are successors of Dorn.

Blood spilled does empower bloodletters but since in this case that blood is all their own it may not count because there's no *mortal* blood being spilled.

Black templars could technically sustain these numbers, but realistically, they've been on crusade for 10k years. These numbers are possible, but unrealistic, mainly as mustering the chapter could take months at least, seeing as there is no home planet and the templars are scattered around the galaxy

Black Templar’s have 10000 marines because codex only allows more space marines is when there on a crusades. So the black templars get around this by always being on a crusades.

Bolters fire .75 caliber rounds which is just a little chunkier than a .700 nitro express in comparison and probably around the length of a 12 gauge shotgun shell.

Usually when the imperium comes across tainted structures or shrines they raze it to the ground, I guess for the blood you would probably have some lore specific to the planet for how it was cleaned, although I think the blood might just be pulled back into the warp along with the bodies.
I was thinkingh like more when they are traveling on ships and stuff like that, its not unheard of for chaos taint and small cults to be found on board, and you cant just burn or blow them up surely. Some poor janitor has to come along and clean the symbols of the wall? :D

They should make a counter for how many gallons of blood get spilled during these battles
The (slave labour) or servitor's get mind scrubbed along with a lot of guardsmen and occasionally astartes, which is more or less a mind wipe but it can be fatal and will often leave the subject a jabbering wreck, after such they install control chips and programmable cranial implants which render them almost immune to the (propaganda) of chaos but not direct warp energy, tainted relics and equipment ect.
i need to see the tyranids loose at least once😭
Its extremely hard to balance with the restictions of lore and the game, you have to have millions of nids and only a few marines. But even putting the marines at max power isnt enough to take on millions so its striking a balance between what the lore says and what the game allows. The only way for the nids to loose is for more mods of more powerful stuff to come out :(

@@mytyang1248 There are EXTREMELY rare cases of Eldar and space marines teaming up to take on nids, but they are almost litraly Myth or non canon (i.e video game lore) and i dont know how people will feel about that.
The Bloodletters seem a tad bit underpowered. Shovel Memes and the like aside, they really should be tearing through the Kriegsmen in melee combat. 🤨
Yeah, there's a clear imperial bias in the unit stats, given that a 1v1 of a bloodletter and a Black Templar should only be like, 75/25 in the marine's favor and the marines are happily building piles of bodies.
Idk if the mod is just really new or what but i got a mod for Blood Ravens with Bolters as well as the other two chapters of space marines

5000 black templars? If you know the lore, that's about right for them cause they don't consider trainees full battle brothers. That and they only use the codex Astartes as mere guidelines.
Btw the orbital bombardment killed about 1500 troops all in all, the demons less than 1000 if i saw that right 😅
