Just started following you and watching your stuff and oh my gosh I am so glad I am not the only one who loves ducks! Also- enjoy watching your roller coaster tycoon videos.
You are doing a great job, we love to follow them! Could you kindly share all the roller coasters you have designed for your games so that we can use them in ours?
Maybe, that’s a lot a rollercoasters to go through! Maybe I could do it, but most of them are molded to the landscape, and can’t be saved and rebuilt in the same way
If you're still making these by exporting and then transcoding them, consider: When creating your project timeline, uncheck 'Use Project Settings', format, set to 1080P, 60FPS Davinci Resolve: Click the rocket (deliver) in the bottom-right, select "Custom Export", change quality to "Restrict to" and set it to 8000 kbps [recommended for 1080P/60, 6000 is for 1080P/30. You can obviously just substitute what you normally put into Handbrake as well]. -Resolution 1080P HD / -Framerate 60 (Should already be set from earlier step) -Codec H.264 The Default is 80,000 Kbps, so your resulting file will be 1/10th the size and you can skip the Handbrake step. Taking a raw file and encoding it to a lossy format makes the next encode (Handbrake) look much worse. By the time YT finishes it, it's on its third lossy format.
Thanks for the advice! I’ve tried a lower bitrate, but it always ends up with really poor quality. I’ve read that DaVinci Resolve does a lowsy job encoding h.264/h.265 videos, hence the need to redo it in handbrake. Now I export with AV1, so my files are nearly lossless and a bit smaller, and I no longer use handbrake for the most part.
19 minutes in and I'm wondering when you'll notice that the path you built from the entrance doesn't connect to anything other than a single ride line, before you added the Ferris wheel, so now it connect to two rides, but not the MAIN path for the rollercoaster you built. Guest can't walk to the coaster yet...
50 minutes in and I've half given up on whether you notice the path not connected lol I laughed a little when you noticed the path you broke by the coaster when making the queue line, but you still haven't noticed the path from the park entrance... I'm starting to think you just won't. Slight bummer because I know it's limiting the amount of guest actually riding attractions
1:52:00 I almost thought you were talking about the path, but it was the mechanic issue... again because most of your mechanic are in the main loop of the park separate from that entrance bridge path.
Gemini is a dueling coaster right? Edit: I just looked it up, those trains are so close together, I’m surprised some safety officer didn’t prevent that 😆 now I wanna ride it and pull faces at the other train whenever I pass it
"Easements" (construction rights) let you build above or below the surface.
Maybe an underground tunnel would have been prettier than the big bridge?
This scenario was fun. Thanks for playing for us.

Thanks! And yes, Ducks are life. Ducks are love. Ducks are PURPOSE 🦆
