I absolutely love your voice! It’s so calming and soothing. Sometimes I turn your videos, that I’ve already seen, and take a nap to your voice 😉😄😴 Honestly, you are one of my favorite narrator’s and I thoroughly enjoy your content! If I could afford patreon I would do it just for this channel. Thank you 😊
Top5s!!! My man, thanks so much for including my hometown in this episode! I’ve actually never heard of troll bridge but will definitely cross it next time I’m in town! keep up the awesome work!!
My friends and I went to troll bridge in mid 80’s at night. We pulled up to the bridge but would not go over it. We heard things ( voices and sounds ) and wasn’t staying around to see what it was. When you go down that road at night, it is pitch black with trees on both sides. It’s scary just driving through there.
I adore this series on this channel, and I lived in Cardiff for 6 years for university and have a little experience with death junction! I worked at the pub pictured, and lived across the road right next to the Natwest. So I have a couple stories from the pub there! It was a little crazy, I remember working there and one of the Team Leaders hated closing down the cellar at night and making sure all of the lights were off so I would do it, and there's a tunnel in the cellar that runs under the roads to the Natwest. Almost every time I went down and came back up I would feel something touching or grabbing my leg, and I took to greeting the ghost as crazy as it sounds every time I went down to stop it from doing so! Our flat wasn't much better for things moving around and some uneasy energies either tbh!
Close to home is my favorite. The diverse subjects and different locations make the videos always interesting. 3:08 is a painting by Rembrandt. And I think it’s a self portrait but I’m not sure about that. He wasn’t born yet in the time of the story
Too Close To Home has become one of my favourite sections now in Top 5's. It's interesting to hear histories/stories from other people's hometown. Love it and I hope you'll keep it going 👍🏻😍
I love these “Too Close to Home” series that you present from your patreons!!! They are incredibly fascinating and haunting all tied neatly with a bow of intrigue and further evidence that there are horrors of the past that still haunt us today!!! Thank you Top5’s for you excellent work and dedication to all of the videos you lovingly put together!!! They are are exceptional!!!
I remember your first video. you spoke pretty quickly and you had this sort of dance music over your narration but it was still a good video 😊 you've come so far. Well done 👏
Hey Top 5s. Thank you so much for covering my hometown. And thanks for looking into Lorraine’s case. I don’t know her or her family but it’s one that’s also stuck in my mind being so close to home. My heart breaks for her family and friends. I did know about the junction in Cardiff. I actually grew up about a 10 minute walk from there. Didn’t know about the bridge on landsdown road. I’ll definitely check it out when I’m in that area next as I’m fascinated by that time of history. When we were studying crime and punishment in history we were told about both the junction and the story of Rawlings white. We looked really closely at him, as we looked into the Tudor era and crime and punishment at that time. We were asked for homework to go and check out both sites finding the plaques and writing down what they said. Cardiff is a beautiful city, rich with history. Thanks again for picking me and my city 💙💙💙💙
I have been subscribed to this channel for awhile, but I only recently started REALLY getting into their content… VERY cool that you do these stories based on your Patreon members’ locations.
Very fun to hear multiple stories in/close to your hometown by chance. I had no idea some of these happened in my area, aside from a passing mention of one recently
Top5s is one of my VERY FAVORITE channels! Thank you for the great content, and thanks for being great people who allow access to people who can't afford it
Hi there. I’m SO new here. Thanks for having me. This is perfect….. it’s so thunderstorms here and dark. Plus I’m off today. So I’m ready. May I say you have a beautiful soothing voice. That’s why I’ve subscribed. I can’t take most of the narrators on UA-cam. There’s only 6 including you I can stand the voices.
I hope everyone’s doing well tonight 😌 Make sure you take some time out of your day to treat yourself with decency and respect. You deserve it, much love my friends 🙏
Born in Ann Arbor Mi, grew in the outskirts known as superior township and know about both of those stories. In fact I grew up on Geddes Rd not too far from Laforge Rd where the victims of John Norman Collins were being discovered. Troll Bridge I just knew the story, I don’t recall ever crossing it but then I didn’t hang out in Saline growing up.
I absolutely love this channel. I will definitely become a patreon when I can afford it. I would love to see Montreal on this list or even Lisboa I recently visited. Lots of love from Montréal 💙💜💙
Well I didn't know that about cardiff death junction. It's a crappy junction. I know alot of creepy stuff about cardiff, but it's nice to hear new things too. Thank you 😊
Sweet, I absolutely love this series and I love this channel. It's 1:15 am and I'm watching TOP5'S!!!! Awesome way to end my night. Hope y'all had a great day.
I just want to say that I've been watching you/your team's videos since you've started and I wanted to say how awesome it is to see how far you guys have come! I can't wait for more amazing content!
About across the street from Shawcross' home is, coincidentally, an English pub that imports English kids to run. The Old Toad. I loved it when I when lived there
The 2002 case of the Muders of Tim 'Blister' Cook and his 4 year old son TJ. The killer and his wife then ended up at a hotel with perfect view across the river from the crime scene. They watched the families cry and scream, he watched the bodies being brought out. It's a very heartbreaking case. Location Whitesburg KY
I’ve not heard of this hospital poisoning before and was surprised to hear that 2 Filipino nurses were accused. It was such a relief to know that they were soon exonerated.
Any stories about Gippsland (South Gippsland Highway) in Victoria Australia? One thing I do know is we have had the most meteorites in the world falling in our area. Another infamous story is about a murderer called Paul Denyer (from Frankston Victoria) who murdered 3 young women in 1983. He is currently trying to get parole but people are up in arms about it because according to the prison guards he still has a strong hatred towards women. He is such an evil person. I find it fascinating that such innocent looking places can have such a dark history. I love your posts and always eagerly look forward to them. Your work is so interesting and insightful. 🇭🇲🌻
I'm from Grand rapids Michigan. I did bounce around in state custody for 13 yrs of my childhood. So it's possible I lived in one of the cities mentioned. Anyways, kinda cool hearing some somewhat local stories. Thanks for the upload and taking the time to do proper research on your videos. I also lived in Rochester New York in my 20s for a short period. Turned out to be a really cool video.
I luv every time you upload new videos!.. Your voice makes the stories that much more intriguing I enjoy all your content thank you for all the hard work and energy you put into your videos. you're awesome!! thank you... 💯💯🙌🙌❤❤👻👻

I always enjoy these top 5's. I live on the Isle Of Wight (off the south coast of the UK and known as Britain's most haunted island - it's practically an industry when it comes to books and ghost walks). I worked at an historical house and there were things that I can't explain. I've got some very interesting photos which defy explanation. One time i was locking up the main building (it's pretty much a shell because it's very old but a bomb got dropped on it during WW2) There was classical music playing, which OK except there was no-one there and there wasn't any electricity for a sound system and even if it was kids mucking around why? It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere and I and the owners were the only one so prank.
Also live on the island! Have many an haunting experience when at my work but not in any other building. Just the odd thing at home. But yes def a lot of ghosts here!
I would absolutely love to hear some of these stories from where I live but nothing exciting has ever happened around here. Still love the stories and hope to be a patreon soon.
I live in Washtenaw County and the Maple Rd. Bridge connecting Ann Arbor and Saline has nothing of significance; I’ve driven that road many times (and over the bridge by extension) and nothing noteworthy happened; just nice scenery to enjoy viewing while listening to music in the car.
I live in Halifax England and have see all sorts of strange and scary stuff. It's not surprising as Halifax is famous the gibbit which predates the guillotine and goes back to 13th century .and a full size replica of it is on the same spot that many people had their heads chopped off . I was homeless for a while and camped next to it and trust me it was scary but I also felt safe there for some reason (strange)........
It seems like almost every small town has a story about a man going for help and leaving a woman behind, she hears scratching and it turns out to be her boyfriend or husband hanging from a tree. I've heard at least three or four versions of that story on this channel, and the town I grew up in has its own version.
I've been on that road in Syracuse many times . It's a very eerie place thar if you don't pay attention you'll go off the road. So be careful at night out there it gets foggy. And yes I will say I've experienced things there. We have our believers and non believers but in a good night you'll find what you want to see.

Perfect! Enjoy.
And I’m eating a piece of key lime pie myself while watching this
Enjoy your homemade custard

How deliciously macabre.
