Thanks for your videos they were really helpful this last months while i was prepering. Managed to pass this Feb, not 90th percentil but a win is a win.
Passed the Feb level 1 test with the 1st attempt and higher than the 90th percentile; now, can I put the 1st attempt and 90th percentile on the resume? Should I?
Hii, I run small stock trading firm. I manage share portfolio of 10-15 clients out of which 5 are my distant relatives. I advise them in trading and pick stocks. Passed the level 1 exams. It still feels like a miracle considering I didn't study Portfolio Management at all (Not even saw the crisp notes) as I didn't had time. I focused on all the other topics, and passed with Little under the 90 Percentile Mark.
Thank you for your content. I passed the level 1 exam with little under 90 percentile. I'd like to thank you too for your content which may have been a portion for the reason to pass.
Hey, thanks for all your great content. Just found out I passed my level 1 Feb 2023 on my first attempt. Your videos have definitely helped me throughout my CFA journey. Congrats to all who passed!!
Thank you, AJ. I passed the level 1 exam with a little under 90 percentile on my first attempt. I'd like to thank you too for your content which may have been a portion of the reason to pass.
I don't know man, pass rate below 40% seems like it will continue to be difficult for the Institute to continue to attract future applicants... just my opinion... but it's way easier to get an MBA from an at least decent school... shorter amount of time, higher success rate, same basic qualification in the eyes of the geniuses that run HR & hiring programs at firms, plus better networking.
@Straight Talks - AJ Srmek Yeah good point, it's just my opinion but I think they'll continue to see low registration numbers at these pass rates. Keep up the good work!
The problem with that logic is the faulty comparison. An MBA and the CFA teach substantially different material. I have an MBA and am registered for Level 3 in September. There is a little crossover between the two, but it's limited. The MBA curriculum said nothing of equity valuation, bond risk gauging, derivatives, and portfolio management. The CFA curriculum has said nothing about corporate communications and writing, operations management, business law, and cost accounting. The CFA teaches reading financial statements, my MBA taught financial accounting, etc.
@@bluehorseshoe444 But do YOU make those distinctions? What do you really want to learn and use? What are your goals? Mine are to learn and use the things the CFA teaches.
Hi, could you please consider a video on the key financial indicators you consider when choosing stocks to allocate in a portfolio? I have an important delivery next week and it would be much appreciated! (sorry if my English is not perfect but I am Italian)
Hey AJ, do you need a Bachelors degree to get started in a CFP career? A university near me has a bachelors degree of "Finance with an emphasis in Financial planning", but it cost 58k, would this be my best option or is there a cheaper route?
You need a degree to become a CFP, but you don't need a bachelors degree to become a finanical advisor. But it is recommended. Just make sure that school and program meet the CFP board education requirement! You can check that on their website.
Thanks man, got myself a passing score on the 2023 feb level 1 test. Really happy and congrats to everyone who passed
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

But 38-40% is back near the highs for L1. Only one period of time did it get up around 45%.
