Thanks AJ! This is brilliant. I watched this a few days ago and memorised all formulas by writing them on paper multiple times. My exam is on 20th of August (two days from now) and I feel prepared because of this ‘secret sauce’ strategy! Thank you so much.
Thanks, A.J.! Just wondering why to push that formulas memorization for the lasts weeks instead of memorizing them along the study 6-8 months journey and try to put them in the long term memory?
What's with the music? Your information is great, but you always seem to want to try goofy things like including so much B roll and now this crazy music hahaha. Keep it up, but we only want to hear what you have to say. No need for the distractions :)
What are your thoughts on the CPWA? I’m 24 with my 7/66/CFP and 1 year of client facing experience as an advisor. I’ve heard CFP/CFA/CPA are the only worthwhile designations. The CPA is not in line with my career, but I can see the CFA providing value for my career and in managing my client’s portfolios. However, I recognize the CFA is a huge time commitment and I question if my time is better spent sharpening my financial planning and sales skills. The CPWA seems to be a deeper dive into the more complex topics covered on the CFP. Struggling to decide if it makes the most sense to pursue the CPWA or CFA at this point in my career.
Hey, I have scrapped GMAT exam just because I hate mathematics, not like the numbers but the solving process for equations in algebra, geometry etc.. I can analyze a companies financial statement and come up with valuations, read on companies for hours/days+ but I can't get into Quantitative sections. Do you think it makes sense for me to take CFA level 1, I do want to get into financial services career but I hate all these formula's and equations.
Hi! What are your views on Corporate Finance Institute and their courses? I’m struggling with passing CFA level 1 and want to see if I can rather do that in the interim to broaden my financial knowledge.
Hello AJ I face difficulties to understand accounting CPA what is you option on CFA is it easier from CPA ? And does CFA looks like cpa ? Thank you very much
1_does it worth to get Master of Finance after passing CFA level3? 2_Would having CFA level 2 or even level 3 give me a high chance to get full fund on Master of Finance from Harvard or at least 10 top schools?
Sie is pretty easy. 4 weeks of study. Series 7 and 66 are a bit harder than the SIE. Then CFA program is at least 10x harder than all of those, no exaggeration.
After years watching your channel, I'll be taking the Level I exam on August 22. Thanks for your tips.
Good luck in this final week!!! you got this.
How did it go?

I believe it is too much info to keep in the long term memory bank.

Possibly, yes.
Where to get these 2500 questions?

I've never heard of CPWA so its probably not well recognized.
@@straighttalks-ajsrmek323Good point. Would you say the time commitment for the CFA is worthwhile for a financial planner?
@@shaunleo22 Probably not.

Yea the CFA exams will be less mathematics than the GMAT. But there is still some basic college level math you will need to do.
@@straighttalks-ajsrmek323Thanks for the reply. I'll be most likely registering for CFA😊🤞

I don't know anything about it, sorry.
Music is causing head ache
Who has the best qbank comparable to the actual cfa l1 exam?
Maybe MM, but I liked Wiley when I used them.

Im taking the Level 1 exam on 13 November (GMT +8)

is the MM 17-page level 1 formula sheet enough?
I don't know it very well myself. But probably, yes.
how does cfa compare in difficulty to Series 7 , series 66 , and sie

Should we be memorizing the formulas for the different statistics?
Yes, everything is testable
Definitely!
How many mocks should one attempt?
10
Last i checked in one of Mark Meldrum's video, only 1 or 2 is enough.
Wow you literally just told us to write formulas down and memorize them.
Yes
Whats the purpose of writing down same thing that you already have ?
I believe its more a phycological thing to get it done may b.
