I think things like this are done for a few reasons. 1. To see the initial reception of the game on release. 2. For content -update releases in future. It makes sense as D4 is clearly doing the same with the Paladin to drop it clearly in response to POE2. All business moves at the end of the day, so I don't really mind either game doing so. I think patience is just needed from the communities who want to have it all in one serving.
Aww. I was going to combine monk and druid classes (dont kniw which I would start with but I'd use skills from the other) Guess ill play something else in the meantime. Mercenary was another i wanted to play.
havign 12 classes is crazy anyways... i guess they could introduce them one by one with new leagues and maybe start to experiment more with game mechanics instead of just skills and their effects...
6 acts and Chronikz is like ah hell no i dont need story im just blasting :) I hope there is a skip button (for dialogue) :) :) I agree with the staggered content release as well.. it would benefit all of the playerbase and the Conten creators have stuff to do all the way.
maybe because GGG treats their customers as their friends and blizzard is full of DEI hires that force tran propaganda into their games and dont listen to criticism lol
Considering how shallow and static classes are in Diablo 3/4 despite thousands of developers, you're probably not wrong. They don't really have an excuse to release the game in that state. Not really fair to compare 6 finished PoE classes with hundreds of interchangeable skills to a diablo game with extremely limited build modularity though.

So this is just a really long winded way to say "I dont know, but here's some possible reasons."
Yes.
I trust GGG, they know what's best for the game
Me too!

That is actually a very fair and true comment! I agree.
I LOVE the idea of drip feeding classes.
Might actually be the correct play to have people come back to the game.

I'm so excited for PoE 2 it looks so good.
Curious to see how it‘ll go!

Not sure about league mechanics but trickling in classes sounds like a smart play.
the missing classes are hybrids. Druid skills are probably not without bugs when used with all the other models, yet.
You might be right.
I'm coming for your cpu
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Thanks for the comment! 100% agree.
The weird reason isn't weird and we don't know the reason.
TRUE
my exitmend went from 100 to 20. i hope they give us a roadmap for EA . otherwise i wait for 1.0 , although i really wanted to play POE2
You can still play it on 06.12.
All this white knighting… if this was Blizzard you’d guys be out for blood.
Path of exile is very fun

Trust is earned. Blizzard had our trust once, too. GGG haven't lost it yet.

I doubt even Blizzard haters would be this demanding at the start of Early Access for a new game.
WASD fault
you speak as if WASD is something bad.
literally just searching for any reason to hate
