SHIP DESCRIPTION:
The Imperator-Class War Rig, developed by Lindan Engineering Corporation for the Freestar Collective Navy during the Colony Wars, is a quick and agile line of drop ships. These ships were utilized alongside mech deployments to provide additional ground troops and aerial support in combat. Equipped with four distinct VTOL repusorlift engines, Imperators can swiftly drop in and release troops, and then provide close for air-to-ground support in various atmospheric conditions. A suite of C-IWS Dual Rotary Turrets, medium Hellfire Repeaters, and Concussion-450 Missiles provide robust air support for ground troops. Imperators can be operated by a single pilot with an advanced targeting system controlling the turrets or by a crew of up to four, including remote turret operators and a copilot. The entire lower deck is modular, capable of housing a troop deployment bay or a cargo hold.
The Furiosa is a heavily modified Imperator-Class War Rig, commandeered by the Crimson Fleet pirate warlord known as "Mad Max" prior to the phasing out of Imperators. With enhanced engine capacity and power output, the Furiosa is one of the fastest ships in the Crimson Fleet, allowing Mad Max and his crew to roam the wastelands of space, scavenging and attacking unsuspecting ships.
THINGS TO NOTE:
- The Mad Max references are just in name only. I wanted to incorporate a couple 800T Fuel Tanks for a true Mad Max "War Rig" build, but these Caspissen Engines allow for a 160 top speed which doesn't feel right to apply to what would essentially be a heavy cargo hauler. So, I switched the ship's role to a dropship.
- I'm using TheRealElianora's Crimson Fleet Habs paid mod for the interior habs, hence the Crimson Fleet themed build. Otherwise, this would totally be my typical gray/tan Freestar build with HopeTech habs

I really appreciate it Rik! It's a long time coming for this build..we first talked about Mad Max inspired builds way back when Furiosa was still in theaters lol. Timing's perfect since it's out on streaming now. Just rewatched Furiosa a few days ago and man the action sequences still give me chills.

So freakin good my guy. The character cards are a great touch to the video. Adjusting the cores to get them just right felt very relatable. I want to see this bird jump into a hot LZ while those flak turrets lay down suppressive fire and mechs go at it below. Maybe i just want a prequel that is the colony war. C’mon Bethesda do a war game lol. Fantastic build per usual 🤌🏼
Dude! That's exactly how I was envisioning this when I was building this. This thing would be drop off ground support right next to some mechs and then hover the battlefield to lay down suppressing fire. We need some war content! Either a prequel or a new system wide war. Fingers crossed we get something like this in a future DLC

I wasn’t familiar with the ship so I checked it out just now. You know, I received another build request a couple weeks ago for a Fury-Class Sith Interceptor from Star Wars: The Old Republic, and I gotta say, the build I’m working on looks _VERY_ similar to the Krait Phantom. Interesting, I’m probably posting the video tonight or tmw as it’s almost done, so let me know what you think and then if it’s not close enough, I can give a more direct Krait MK2/Phantom build a shot.
Great ship! I’m struggling to add the belly and the cargo ontop of the landing gear. I don’t get it
This is for the rear section right? The HopeTech Landing Gear will attach to the same snapping point as the lower Belly / Cargo Hold combo, which is just behind the Landing Bay. Then add another Belly / Cargo Hold combo is added above it but attached to the end of the 2x1 Mess Hall.
Each time you merge a part, make sure you Select All by double clicking a connected part, then press Accept. This tactic will snap the loose parts you just added.

Are you able to snap the Landing Gear? The belly or the cargo hold should automatically snap, whichever you attach first, should snap to the rear of the hab, and then whichever part you’re merging last (cargo hold or belly) will have to be merged in by placing it. Try the select all + accept method a few times. If it still doesn’t work then shift around that last part so that it aligns where it’s supposed to snap. The closer it is to where it needs to go, the more efficient Select All + Accept is.
any updates on if and when your ships will make it into Creations?
I think my first batch of ships in the Starfield Fleet Expansion mod will be available in update 1.2, and then personally, when I get around to learning the CK hopefully within the next week or so, I will working on batches as well.
Loving the VTOL engines but mine our bugged at the moment 😢
Oh what's happening with them? At random times, I notice the VTOL's won't rotate for me and stay put in their landing position. Exiting back to the main menu doesn't fix it but exiting back to desktop and then reloading the game fixes it.

How do you get the Avionics Panel?
I just had to get creative with it with the interior decorator. I'm using the "shutter" module from the Place Doors Yourself mod and then added those screens/panels from Skully's Emporium AIO (SkullyNBones) and Panels (Specik)
