To me, this is a journey away from a depressed state, and the struggles towards the light from the darkness.
Their music is already so perfect but the artistic value of their videos really add to that perfection still.

This is the dumbest discussion I have ever had on a metal music video but whatever, I'll humour you. No you are wrong, something can be perfect, and then when new discoveries or more progress has been made that perfect idea can be worked upon based off new information not available prior to the idea or invention. I'll even gave you too stupid examples. You can stand on top of a mountain, watch an incredible view and think to yourself, this moment is perfect, it just can't get any better, until a meteor shower starts bringing you to tears, making it even better. Or how about even more stupid, fire, when fire was invented it was absolutely perfect, you can't enhance fire, but then we learned how to harness it throughout the years, making it even more perfect as we learned about a dozen other ways to use it for besides food and warmth. Something can be perfect, and that perfection can still be moved forward when new events are brought up or new discoveries are made to improve upon the initial view.
Now I am not going to have 10 000 back and forward comments over this, I have nothing else to add, take it as you will.

During my first (not last! I hope) trip to Iceland this song/band was my favorite. It gave me inner Icelandic vibe, when I traveled across island. Love it!
