No use of Jio Airfiber launching in metro cities where already some or the other fiber connection is available with much cheaper rate. Atleast Airtel airfiber is portable. Disappointed from Jio this time😢

@@sunilpsaachaar4564 Better to get some cheap 5g smartphone and use as hotspot. I understand router is good with all advance technology. But to use 5g if we need to setup some outdoor unit in metro cities then it's not the technology we need. This will be more practical in tier 2 or 3 cities.

If Jio AirFiber is not portable then it doesn't make any sense. Airtel AirFiber is much better than Jio AirFiber.
No its not .. airtel.air fiber is not standalone means yiu will not get 5g speeds everywhwre.. Jio is 5G standalone.. means can get 5g speeds consistent without drop.

Really good for hostel wifis where there are lots of restrictions.
There is no 50Mbps, 80Mbps plans. 30 and then 100 only, its just a hype. After 1 or 2 years actually we can come to know how well they perform.

Considering jio sim in my phone gets 5G from Jio’s tower and Outdoor unit of jiofibre also gets 5G from Jio’s tower, why will one get better speeds with Airfibre compared to native 5G sim of the same fibre. Better antenna in Outdoor unit and open placement of the outdoor unit are the “only” two reasons for such drastic/ significant difference in internet speed from same source?
yes the antena used have much high power input and output capabilities to send and recieve high power waves that can travel much faster and have high width

Nope, airfibre is basically using a 5g connection like our smartphone and providing a wifi connection...so those areas where 5g is not present or 5g is slow , airfibre is not a good option.

Bhai hamare yaha jio ki 5g to chhoro 4g bhi nhi milta hai kyuki jadatar network hi nhi reheta hai net to dur ki baat hai call karne ke liye bhi network nhi reheta. Jab pehele pehele aya tha tab kya speed tha 4g ka 2017 ke aspass fir jaise hi 2 saal hua tabse network hi nhi reheta. Or jio ke customer wale call kar karke pareshan kardeta hai ki recharge karo ab network hi nhi reheta jiske wajase mobile ke battery bhi bohot jaldi khatam hota hai. Very very disappointed by jio.
Is jio airfiber will available in Village area?
I don't think so, 5g penetration is still not good at village level, since air fibre is just using the 5g connection ( like our smartphone) it will not be able to provide speed at the village area.... for villages I think broadband connection is still better..

Latency is a thing
I have 150MB downloading speed and 170MB uploading speed.
But in my smartphone, the max I get is 12MB download speed and 2-3MB uploading speed. Why???
