I am breeding some of the different species of this animals terrestrial cousins. They are surprisingly fun, and after watching this, maybe I should get an aquatic one as a pet someday.
@@plant5875 Depends on the species. I think it is fine for those with exoskeletons like lobsters, crabs, and isopods but for endoskeleton species like fish and eels, they would suffer. I don't know much about marine biology to make a proper claim.
bro its pressure like can you see that the isopods are armored roaches of the sea its probably bc at the deep their shell protects them from pressure and without it the isopod would live normally (except the pressure)
i believe that if you properly lower the pressure around them (ie: very slowly take them from the deep sea) they'll be fine. Monterey Bay Aquarium has touch pools with them and they are perfectly fine

Too cute!! The little ones 🥰

I highly doubt you will be able to find one as a domestic pet. These creatures live deep in the depths.
@@HolyFreakinDragonSlayer yet for some odd reason this one in the video is kept in a crappy fish tank to "live" in
I for one welcome the coming rule of our isopod overlords.
These guys look sooooo cute
+Kyle Rasavenger They are really expensive
@@GamerzDailyFix wtf
They are supposed to be very tastey and expensive to eat.
@@indridcold8433 people will say that about any cute animal
big shell boy
They must have put really high pressure water in the tank
Edit:Most likes I’ve ever gotten!
That's what I was thinking
things adapted to high pressure is fine at low pressure??? I think it's the opposite (things adapted to low pressure isn't fine at high pressure)

I saw another video on yt that showed these in a touch tank. That couldn’t be pressurized so what gives 🤷🏽♂️
They can walk around on land with no problem. Pressurised tank isn't needed.
sooo cool!
Save for the tail, it looks nearly the same as a wood louse, sometimes known as a pill bug.
It is - a giant pill bug
It’s a deep sea marine relative of wood lice
@@steveneaddy5298 Very interesting. The similarities are incredible.
@@indridcold8433 That's because they are almost literally the same animal, they're both types of isopods which is a crustacean.
Did you know the common woodlouse/ pilbug is also a crustacean 😊
look at the babies
Wow
The Bay :)
Phụng Baby thats why im here lol this one in my body yak
I can’t believe they can be in an aquarium.
It’s a gort schmoovin around :]
its cute
verym very nice; mindblowing video! I am in an awe!!!
**fear noises**
Look kids, fooooooooood.
My dad says Isopods are common you can find them in any countries in deep sea and ground
I'm currently breeding six different species. They are so cool and come in so many different colors.
@@warrioroflight6872 where do I even get started finding out how to breed them
That is HUGE
They arr similar like lobster °∆°
Giant Roly Poly
Oh ! Just it is in the Oceanarium (!!!). I like this View, and very much (!). BfK. ☑🆗💯😘⭐🐛⭐🐛⭐🐛⭐🐛⭐👍🆒😍

how much for one?
Oh there is no dislike
How is it surviving up here? Wouldn't the change in pressure kill it?
