    Few sports can be so inspiring and entertaining from just watching others train.

    i love how at the end she pointed to try it with a bar and he's like there's no point. that's some kung fu shit. i freaking love the lifting philosophy of the chinese.

      Michael Zhang Woah calm, brother. I was asking a genuine question. I didnt see the humor, thats all. It was a weightlifting video, so i thought OP was actually referring to some sort of kung fu discipline being integrated into training by the Chinese weightlifters. lol

      +dev in the kung fu shit he was referring to was the principle to always learn and train the basics to the fullest before you can even think of learning any fighting techniques.

    Little known fact, the squat jerkers practice in a box with jagged metal spikes on every side. The ones you see at international competitions are just the athletes who made it out alive.

    ...and this is why the Chinese score so high on our tests and courses. They are not smarter, they just teach smarter and learn with more discipline.

    • @offffofof
      @offffofof 7 років тому +1

      Not only Chinese are smarter, The entire East Asia JP KR scored Higher in IQ test. I think its a genetic thing

    • @MarcusLeonard307
      @MarcusLeonard307 7 років тому +24

      That is total BS. It's just their prioritization of education, particularly in math and science. Overall, Americans avoid these because our priorities are different and do not support the level of rigor required to excel in these subjects. We are not less intelligent at all. I know this first-hand by going to graduate school and now teaching American Chinese students who are just as dumb/smart as anybody else.

      @Rationalthought83, while the other dude is certainly being anti-intellectual by jumping to a big conclusion about genetic intelligence of a mass population, you're also arguing him from an "irrational" standpoint, ironically, by citing anecdotal evidence to counter him.

    • @grzesiek1x
      @grzesiek1x 4 роки тому +2

      i think it is nothing to do with being smart but they are just more discipline and focused! At the same time americans have always too many distractions like posting photos on Instagram, youtube or facebook live , snapczat etc etc and they are not focused on what they are doing and care more how their photo looks on Instagram. This is my opinion from observations during the exercise etc. and there is another thing called "big ego!" you see here they practise this exercise without any bar over and over again but a the same time others want to lift heavier weights without any technique. I see some good lifters on youtube but they care more about their youtube channel than training ... so what do you expect ??

      He is trying to get her into a more stable position as well as get her feet to shift forward and back evenly. She would keep missing the front box with her foot as well as her back foot would rotate in. So overall he is just trying to get her be more consistent with her landing stance.
