- Hello guys! I was inspired by several people I have become friends lately to tell my revert story in hopes of learning more from everyone and gaining more knowledge about Islam. It was the promise of ALLAH to the Muhammad narrated in the hadith, and now started to prove at the end of our time, "ALLAH to keep promise:
"ALLAH showed me the earth so that I can see the earth from the east to the west. The power of my people will reach all the areas that I see it. "(Reported by Muslim in al Fitan wa asyratu Hour, also narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)
The hadith reported the arrival of Islam to the area reached by day and night or means spread Islam to all corners of the Earth's surface, from urban to rural hinterland. It has spirit and letter of the word of Allah:
ما شاء الله تبارك الله الحمد لله رب العالمين الله اكبر الله اكبر الله اكبر

I recommend sheikh Yusuf Estes, Khalid yasin, Yusuf hamza, there are many sholars sorry our great scholars who I didn't mention their names I am sorry and I like to listen to Maher zain and sami Yusuf they are great Muslim singers maybe you know them if not I think you will like them . salam :)

Which I could buy from amazon.
I used al kitaab to learn Arabic. Do you want grammar or actual story books brother?
Maria del Mar Aponte I did read/practice one grammar book. Now reading quran with help of dictionary. So building some vocabulary as well. I some time feel like reading other arabic stuff. So I can get more exposure to the language. Given my standard now, I can only perhaps read simple stuff.

assalaamu alaykum, congratulations, wish you and your family for the best future, my prayers are with you. if i could give some advice i would say, try not to displease god (generally try being a good person) , start off with your fardh (compulsory) (5 pillars) try live according to the sunnah of the prophet and do everything for the love of Allah (god). follow the quran and authentic hadith, and respect the 4 imams, respect the law of your land, but try follow sharia-law. also get advice/knowledge from legit scholars who are certified with proof from the qur'an /authentic hadith, as a muslim i am so proud of you. (forgive me if i have said anything wrong and get a second opinion on what i have said by a certified scholar because i'm not one) i'm just giving you advice.

Maria del Mar Aponte masha'allah, there is some material online i think you should look in to its by 'DR ZAKIR NAIK' (he has his own youtube channel) i think it will help answer some questions, also 'AHMED DEEDAT' great teachers of islam. if you have any questions there is 1 scholar you can email it's is 'asim al hakim' you can find his email online on his web page. jazak-allah thankyou
