You popped up and I listened. There definitely are a whole lot of very talented people out there and both of you are that. Paul Simon has written a lot of great songs and this is one of them IMO. THX for your input.👍👍
This came up on my feed and I had to comment! It's been a couple years since I've heard this, and I'm reminded how Meg's haunting cover of this classic was my anthem during the Trump years. I continuously went back to this video for comfort. Hopefully this American election will bring a more joyous song!!! Meg, love your voice and love your soul!!
Meg, your voice is hauntingly beautiful! Your guitarist was fantastic and I felt the energy that both of you were exuding..........this was seriously, seriously, really good I want to Thank You for this!
I’m gonna hope that Meg is the pretty one with the beautiful voice. What a lovely rendition. Luca, too. You know, it’s not just about getting the right notes out. It’s about creating a mood and making your audience feel something. Meg and Luca obviously get that - they moved this listener. (And judging by the comments, quite a few others). Thank you.
UA-cam took me here from Josh Turner Guitar's thread, where he has just posted a great version of this, and that blew me away, but LOVE the simplicity of this version with a very lovely husky vocal style, and unbelievably clear diction. As a guitarist of over 40 years, I would love to have half of Luca's ability.
great job! i luv this song and is my fav Paul Simon solo song and even luv it when Willie Nelson did it on his album some years back. Once again great job!
I think I heard you first on NPR.. I actually had never heard Simon's song before. I thank for this ray of hope in troubled times. I love that your faces are just as expressive as your music.

Beautiful! I especially love the subtle lyric change from "I'm allright" to "We're allright". I think this is becoming the post election anthem for some folks.
In addition, I think Meg deliberately changed the lyrics from "And I dreamed I was dying followed by two "flyings" to " ...... flying " followed by two "dyings". Anyway, this doesn't change my view that it is a great cover. @@megthevegan
Nice version, I like your voice very much. If this planet is still intact, in 200 years from now people will be listening to Simon & Garfunkel the way we listen today to Johann Sebastian Bach.
As of January 9th 2021, this is fitting and prophetic. Thank you for a wonderful version of Paul Simon's version of Beethoven's vision of today. And may God have mercy on us.
Simon’s best song. I liked the guitar although I was expecting the original outro. Vocals were obviously very good but I would have preferred it kept more simple in places - like it was for the last verse. I liked the way the vocals and guitar didn’t follow each other to the milli second. Bob Dylan uses that technique also. A good listen. Thank you.
Stephen DiLauro hello!! I still have the 8 string Uke you gave me ❤️❤️ Not acting regularly, just an odd job here and there Playing music and singing for my living...could be worse 😁 I hope you are doing well, hit me up if you find yourself in London x
1st he dreamed that he was dying, only after he died was he able to fly, in all due respect, you are awesome, i love your soulful interpretation of this great song, but you see, it's really important to understand, that if you want to fly in your dream you 1st have to die. it has to do with experiencing your death in your previous incarnation, after you died you began to fly. most people don't understand this. it has to do with astral projection. peace and love sister.

I'm back. I can't get enough of this.

Thank you. You capture the spirit of this song. America had it all.
I’m gonna hope that Meg is the pretty one with the beautiful voice. What a lovely rendition. Luca, too.

Simplicity and authenticity at its best; you have a very pleasant and velvety voice, and a good guitarplayer next to you !
I've needed as much American Tune as I can get since you first published this. Thank you.
Beautiful sound…thank you so much…
So Beautiful ❤️❤️✌️😢
Breathtaking rendition 🎶💕
OMG, the first sound gives me goosebumps, magic, deep, touching.......touching some deep feelings inside me.
I love it :-) thanks for sharing this nice meaningful cover...
While Simon's song is indeed timeless, it feels especially apropos right now. Masterful rendition by these two.
Beautiful !! And a really great job, very well done.
That was amazing. Just beautiful. Well done!

Yes. I stand corrected. It is Bach, not Beethoven.
I concure: That was good!
Deserves more views... Bravo.
Thank you!
Brill!!
Thanks to Hans Leo Hassler who composed the original tune and JS Bach for using it in his St. Matthew Passion.
..........for we live(d) so well.
wow
Meg who? Man I love this version, love Meg!!
Im so glad you enjoyed :) Thanks for your comment
Very very nice:)
Awesome...one of the best songs ever written
A powerful song preformed beautifully. Thank you both.

I love the way you sing...don’t understand all as a french gay but i like it ...
Voice better than guitar.
Singing great!
But-----guitar little noisy
I think keep play fingerstroke better
Sorry...I didn't especially enjoy this. The guitar was very good!
