"WE SURVIVED" Buggs Island - The First Man Out Series - 2023 Bassmaster Open Kerr Lake

Stop # 3 of the 2023 Bassmaster Opens took us to Buggs Island aka Kerr Lake. We had to deal with some adverse conditions throughout practice and the tournament including rapidly rising water levels, thunderstorms, extreme wind, and muddy water but we survived! After having a decent practice the conditions though a wrench in my plans on Day 1 and I was only able to bring in 4 fish to the scales out of a potential 5 fish limit. With my season on the line I was able to scrap 13-2 together on Day 2 to jump over 50 places and finish 33rd earning a good check and some valuable AOY points!
