I do have slight reactions to shellfish and occasionally break out in hives if I have them. Do you think I should avoid snail mucin?

I ad serum to either snail essence or the snail 92 cream .. I'll put 2-3 drops of first aid beauty niacinamide MIXED with snail 96.. or.. the original niacinamide MIXED with snail 92 cream .. this works for my skin which is oily.

Thank you for the informational, thorough video! However, I'm still having trouble incorporating the snail mucin in my routine. In the morning, I wash my face with water>apply the Ordinary Niacinamide to damp skin>the Ordinary Buffet>moisturizer>sunscreen. In the evening, I apply a salicylic acid cleanser>niacinamide to damp skin>either retinol or Paula's Choice BHA exfoliant>moisturizer. I'd appreciate any advice!
Use it before or after Niacinamide. Or after your exfoliant.

Hey :) I believe that's quite a bit. I'd recommend using either snail mucin, hyaluronic acid, or a moisturizer. Perhaps you could combine two, but beyond that, it seems you'd be doubling or even tripling up on ingredients.

I have been using the CeraVe SA cleanser for half a year and I just recently thought about how it makes my skin feel a bit tight and makes my nose kind of flaky and too dry. However, after I apply moisturiser, my nose feels too oily again. I want to keep using salicylic acid in my cleanser so I am not sure if I should switch to a lighter dose of salicylic acid in my cleanser or use a gentle cleanser in stead a few times a week.
I appreciate any tips on what I can do better.

What's your overall skin type?
You could alternate between your SA cleanser and a gentle cleanser (suitable for your skin type).
Also, you do not necessarily need a moisturizer; you could also just use a hydrating toner or essence instead of a moisturizer because those have usually a lighter texture but still add hydration to the skin.
Or skip applying your moisturizer on your nose (where you get oily).

If you're looking for hydration, then the snail mucin is essentially a good product, as it gives you a nice, glowy finish. But apart from that, it doesn't do much.
And this is how I've learned a lot over the years - by simply helping people. So I also gain something from doing this. 🙃

Can I use the essence with the ordinary buffet copper peptide, niacinamide and alpha arbutin?
Yes, you can! But when layering them all, it may be a bit too much. So I suggest using only two serums per routine; I just find that it layers best, especially if you follow with an additional SPF during the day or even use a moisturizer afterwards.

Overall, your routine looks good. I would suggest alternating between Niacinamide and Vitamin C in the morning. You can use your exfoliating acid toner either before or after the essence :)

Yeah, I've had a similar experience.
But also often, when I just washed with water and then applied a product afterwards, it clogged my pores. However, when I refrained from using anything afterwards, it worked much better.
By the way, you can definitely use snail mucin as a moisturizer. I followed that method using hydrating toners for a while, and it showed much better results. In fact, I hardly ever use a moisturizer anymore. If my skin becomes too dry, I take a break from everything except the cleanser for a few days and then resume my routine. That approach seems to work best for me. :)

Just cleanse your face, then follow with the serum and apply your moisturizer. If you want to include the essence, use it before or after the serum, and then follow with your moisturizer. I can't tell you if that's going to be too much snail mucin as this really depends on your skin-it's individual.

No, especially not when using such a hydrating sunscreen as shown in this video. It's just an extra step that companies like to suggest in order to profit more. Let's say you have a drying sunscreen; in that case, it would be better to switch to a more hydrating formulation as it causes fewer issues when layering and feels more comfortable.
You could use the toner after cleansing, but before applying snail mucin and/or niacinamide.

Hii!! i am new to the channel and i loved hiw you exolained it.. My concern is that i have an dry skin and pores on my face along with acne and i want to have some good routine which helps my face to be clear and smooth.
My normal routine is to wash my face with caffeine face foam wash and then jst apply some mosturizer. However recently i have purchased a snail mucin essence and ordinary niacinamide serum.
Could help me if i should add any other products to this routine?

For the rest, you can incorporate both products into your routine. However, I suggest starting slowly with niacinamide by using it once every other day for the first two weeks or so, before using it daily if tolerated.
Clean your face.
Pat dry.
Apply snail mucin.
Apply niacinamide.
(Optional) Use a moisturizer if needed.

Do you use CeraVe Foaming Cleanser? I would recommend using a moisturizer only on the drier parts of your skin, or if you experience dryness. As, the Snail Essence can provide enough hydration that you may not need to use a moisturizer afterward.

What do you mean by "in soap or in cleanser"? Do you have any examples? 🤔
Using Salicylic Acid products after Benzoyl Peroxide is not a good idea. Especially not if you have a low pH serum. A moisturizer may be fine, but it really depends on the formulation. So which one do you want to use? 🤔

A cleanser can be called a cleanser, face wash or soap. It's the same thing as long as (in your case) it contains Benzoyl Peroxide.
Ok, still it would be best to use a hydrating toner, serum or light moisturizer instead of an SA product because BP kind of exfoliates the skin as well.

I have a confusion, corx snail has a very sticky consistency. If I use it before my arbutin and niacinamide serum..will it affect the penetration of serum ? Can I apply it after my serum?
Technically, use it before other serums. However, the Snail Essence could also be used after the serums, and you may even want to use it 'like a moisturizer'.

Try an exfoliating acid such as Salicylic Acid (2%) if you have normal to oily skin or Glycolic Acid if you have normal to dry skin. But the best would be to extract them.

If you have normal to oily skin, you do not need to use a moisturizer. If a bit of dryness should occur, use a hydrating toner or essence instead.

Either use the Salicylic Acid Exfoliant or your Benzoyl Peroxide Treatment.
You do not need to CeraVe's Moisturizing Cream; that one is way too rich for you.
Also, those are only treatments to reduce acne; they aren't a cure. To 'cure' your acne, you would need to know what's causing your breakouts in the first place.

Overall your routine looks great. However, I recommend just using the Snail Essence or The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid. You do not really need both. I mean, it isn't wrong, but it does not make a lot of sense since both hydrate the skin.

I have one more question 🙂 I have noticed laugh lines appearing and they have darkened. I have also noticed dark patches under my bottom lip, the corners of my lips and middle of my upper lips. I feel like its the gycolic acid but I'm not sure. It has started to burn around those areas recently, after using it and I get dry patches especially by my jaw area. I have brown skin (indian background) and have dry skin. Am I using too much of it? Should i stop using it everyday? Is there products you would recommend? I would recommend using snail mucin and alpha arbutin in the evening, and hyaluronic acid with niacinamide in the morning. This way, you won't overwhelm your skin as much!
