I’m so so glad they didn’t tear down the wall between the kitchen/dining room. A proper home has a separation and the loft style is over done these days. This home is a treat 💗💗💗💗
Yes! I couldn't agree more! I can't understand the current obsession with wide open living spaces ; it's not good to be cooking, washing your dishes, etc basically right there in the living room!
The home is outstanding, the presentation is very, very good. Well done! (Just try to ignore the useless, simple minded criticism in the comments.) I’m happy for the fortunate folks who will get to enjoy this lovely home. 🌷
It didn't used to be. I grew up a block over, at 517 12th Avenue, and back then it was a really nice mid to upper middle class neighborhood with no drugs or crime. But, that was back in the sixties and early seventies. I guess a lot has changed since then. I left Huntington in 1984, and I have heard that it has gotten really bad with drugs and crime since I left. I haven't been back, even though I am in Ashland now. But, I like to remember the way Huntington used to be. I hope the issues get sorted out at some point, and it gets back to the place it used to be.
1/2 baths I hate could have placed 3×3 shower Too much pottery will be used as clay pigeons The house is overall wonderful Would make it my bachelor pad live there by myself and watch Marshall football
Not bad, but: very many doors with different shape and size. Terrace will increase a home insurance dramatically. A corner lot - more traffic, more noise, more pollution. Next, this house over decorated with items of bright sharp colors that taking away attention from a house itself. A white kitchen is nice - more reflected light, but not practical and very irritating to eyes. All rooms have different colors- when items will remove from a house- new owners will find a lot of damage to walls - so, walls will required new painting job. The old houses always have issues with heating or cooling system for WHOLE house! Cost of that fun work could be between $25,000 - $45,000. Also, old houses have problems with mortals - cracks in the mortal between bricks with bring hot or cold ear in space between outer and inner wall - extra money from your pocket. Windows are letting outdoor air come inside, no meter of quality of windows; same story with doors. Very important to know about quality of: pipes, electrical staff, heating and cooling system; condition of attic and basement. A room above a garage has it plus and minuses: insulation from: weather, gas from a working car, stored chemicals for cleaning a car, gasoline. All this stuff could effect your health dramatically! Recommendation: remove part of stuff (60%) from a house that customer can see a house, not a store; provide info on stuff mentioned above. If everything are fine, real price could be around $580,000. It is personal opinion, yours could be different. Wish you good luck with a sale!
