A small fixed blade might be a good addition. One thing I've really liked about carrying mine is that I'm able to deploy it single handed a little easier than my folder. Mine is mounted horizontal scout carry on my belt. Its been very convenient. For hiking, maybe something like an Essee Izula II. I have one of those just haven't carried it yet, while being a small knife, the spine is still beefy, so if i needed to baton it through some small wood I feel confident it would hold up. Overall, great minimal carry loadout. Sometimes it can get crazy and you can easily load up on too much stuff. Back to basics is good.
